Glimmer's alarm went off at 7:30. She groaned and rolled over to shut it off. Once the noise stopped she snuggled back into her pillow and started to drift back to sleep. "WAKE UP SLEEPYHEAD!" Her best friend Bow slammed her door open. They'd known each other forever, so they were comfortable coming into each other's rooms unannounced. Glimmer lazily threw a pillow at him. 

"Noooooo." she moaned. Bow was a morning person. She was... not.

"We have to go to school!" He picked up a t-shirt from her floor and started folding it. "Glimmer is this clean or dirty?"

"It's clean. I think."

"Ok you have 2 minutes before I'm pulling the blanket off of you."

"Fineeee." She sat up and swung her legs over the side of the bed. Yawning, she stretched her arms over her head. "Wait can i have that shirt you folded?" He tossed it to her. She pulled the soft lilac shirt with a sparkle pattern over her head. She got off the bed and grabbed a pair of leggings to put on. 

The first half of her day was nothing special. As she and Bow left their 4th period class, she pulled out a bubblegum scented gloss and ran it over her lips. "Wanna go to the whispering woods for a little bit?" Bow asked.

"Yeah, but... I'm kinda grounded..."

"It's technically part of the Bright Moon campus, right? If we get back before the end of lunch no one will know."

"Well it's a big forest, but part of it is our campus. You know what, i could use a break. Lets do it."

"Yay!" Bow squealed. They walked off together into the woods. 

"So there's a soccer game against the Horde tomorrow. Mom wants me to play but she knows I hate sports." Glimmer complained.

"Yeah, but it's the Horde! We need to beat them!" They were deep into the woods by now. 

***ADORA'S PERSPECTIVE***

Adora opened her eyes. Where was she? She suddenly remembered driving with Catra, and their car crashing... looking around, she realized she was in the whispering woods. The car that they'd taken was smoking, flattened against a tree. She remembered vaguely that the car might explode. Probably best to stay away from it. Hearing voices in the woods, she started to walk toward them. 

She walked around a tree, the voices were getting closer. It sounded like a guy and a girl. "Hello?" She called out. She stepped into a clearing. A short girl with pink and purple hair and a black boy who was only a little taller than her were standing there.

"HORDE SOLDIER!" The girl screamed. A Bright Moon princess? Just her fucking luck that she would meet students from the rival school. She braced herself for a fight.

"You wanna go, Princess?" Adora challenged her.

"Whoa! Glimmer, chill out!" The boy said, grabbing her arm to hold her back. "What are you doing here?" He said to Adora.

"I got in a car crash. I just need to go back to the fright zone." She muttered.

"Oh! Well we're playing you guys in a soccer game at Thaymor tonight! Just stay with us till then and go back with them."

"Bow are you fucking insane? You're offering to hang out with a Horde student?"

"Well she seems nice!"

"You've barely talked to her!"

Adora had completely forgotten about the Thaymor game. It would be a good idea to wait for them to come so she could go back... "Okay, I'm in."

"New best friend!" Bow squealed. 

"NO!" Adora and Glimmer yelled in unison.

They got back to the school campus right as the end of lunch bell was ringing. "I guess you're coming to class with us?" Glimmer said begrudgingly.

"Oh! We can introduce you to everyone!" Bow grabbed her arm and pulled her into the classroom. Sitting at the table was four people, a blonde girl with flowers in her hair and cute freckles, a girl with turquoise hair who had her leg casually resting on the lap of a boy with a fake-looking mustache, and a girl with long purple hair in two pigtails. Bow casually slid into a chair, gesturing for Adora to sit next to him. Glimmer meanwhile angrily flopped into a chair across the table.

"Hey guys, this is Adora!" Bow introduced her to the group.

The blonde girl smiled. "Hello! I'm Perfuma!" 

"I am Sea Hawk! And this is my dearest Mermista!" He gestured to the girl whose leg was on his thighs. 

"Yeah hi." She said sounding bored, not even looking up from her phone.

"I'm Entrapta." The girl with pigtails introduced herself. "I've never seen you here before." She glanced at Adora's jacket. "You're a Horde student?" That got everyone at the table to stare at her, even Mermista. 

"What the fuck." Mermista growled. Perfuma set a hand on her shoulder. 

"How could you bring a Horde student here, Bow?"

"a BETRAYAL!" Sea Hawk lifted a hand to his forehead and collapsed onto Mermista. Entrapta didn't seem to care. 

"Guys! It's ok! She's cool!" Bow said trying to calm everyone down. Everyone looked suspicious. As he tried to explain, Adora felt herself getting a little hot. She casually pulled her jacket off, exposing the tight tank top underneath. Not to brag but she worked out a lot, so her biceps were pretty impressive. All conversation suddenly stopped. Adora looked up. All the girls at the table were staring at her again, but they weren't offended anymore. Most of them seemed to be blushing.

"Fascinating" Entrapta whispered, breaking the silence. "Does everyone in the Horde have this level of muscle mass?" She slid her chair, which Adora just now noticed was on wheels, over to their side of the table. She pulled a tape measure out of her pocket and began to measure Adora's biceps. "Can I observe your next excercise session?"

"Me too! For science reasons!" Mermista said quickly.

"Mermista, you're demonstrating all characteristics of arousal in a human female. I hypothesize that you are not interested in science." Entrapta glanced around. "In fact, I can conclude that I am the only woman here not experiencing sexual attraction to Adora."

"OKAY THAT'S GREAT ENTRAPTA LETS STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS" Glimmer exclaimed, blushing furiously. 

"So then, we're all cool with Adora hanging out here?" Bow said smugly.

a/n: Hey y'all! What did you think of the chapter? (fyi the pic at the top is how i think of Glimmer and Bow) Just to clarify, I think of everyone as 15/16 years old (in grade 10/sophomores) except for Entrapta who is 18 in this AU(grade 12/senior) and when Frosta is introduced she'll be 11 of course. So Entrapta will not be having any shipping moments with any princesses since they're all younger than her. Next chapter will be the Thaymor game, there'll be some Catradora as well as Glimmadora and possibly some Entrapdak :) If you have any ships or anything you want to see in this fic leave them in the comments and I'd be happy to write something in!
