Days passed by quicker than anyone could comprehend and all of a sudden, Jaehyun found himself standing in front of the assigned classroom for his calculus exam. This was his last exam before summer break, and then the big leap out of high school and into university.

The boy couldn't believe the long-awaited Art Performance was precisely one week away, feeling as though it had only been yesterday when Mr. Park gathered Xia and himself for the very first meeting regarding it. He smiled, the memories of his now girlfriend panicking every so often throughout the year replaying themselves in his mind.

Shaking the thoughts away, but unsuccessful in getting rid of his smile, Jaehyun cleared his throat and walked into the classroom.

'That's right,' he thought, 'let's focus on the now. I'll tell her about America when we get to it.' He sighed, sliding into his designated seat.

"So," Yuqi dragged out as she plopped herself down on the Huangs' couch, "how are you and lover boy?"

Xuxi had decided he wanted to take his girlfriend out on a date that Saturday to celebrate the end of sophomore year. He told her he would pick her up at nine, but his sister knew he would accidentally sleep in one way or another, and had taken the liberty to call Yuqi over to their house instead. That was exactly what happened, which was the reason why the two girls were seated on the couch as the tall boy scrambled to get ready upstairs.

Xia grinned, turning to face her best friend beside her. "We're good, we're really good." She threw her arms around the girl. "I'm so happy!"

Yuqi laughed. "I think happy is an understatement. Jaehyun really is a good guy."

It was silent for a few seconds before Xia glanced at Yuqi's face to see her eyebrows furrowed. "What's wrong?"

The girl shook her head, but sighed not long after, moving to hold her best friend's hands. "Xia," she started, "I don't mean to put a damper on the mood, but what about university?"

"What about university?"

"Has he told you where he's going yet? He should already know by now."

And then it hit her. In the two months she had dated Jung Jaehyun, the topic of university had never once been brought up. She realized the both of them might unconsciously be putting it off for as long as they could, but she knew the conversation was unavoidable.

It was at that moment that Xuxi decided to stumble down the stairs. "Baby, are you ready? Let's go!"

Slowly, Yuqi let go of Xia's hands. "I'm sorry, but you know you should talk about this with him," she said apologetically before getting up and walking over to the waiting older Huang twin.

Xia could hear Xuxi asking what they were talking about just as the front door closed and she was left alone with her thoughts. Slowly, she leaned back, covering her eyes with her arm. "We'll be okay," she muttered to herself. "We're going to talk about it and we'll be fine."

'Are we?'

'Are we?'
