Due to Toritsuka's sudden appearance, I was never able to question Saiki about the forehead kiss that he gave me. Apparently, the moment that the spiritual medium had laid his eyes on me Saiki took a glimpse into his head and did not like what he saw.

I had watched as my boyfriend shot a malicious glare at the poor fool before turning to me and gently offering me his hand.

"[Last Name] I'll teleport you back home." He states as I take quick glances to the teen behind him watching the whole exchange. I take his hand regardless and slowly slide out of the bed and onto my feet.

"Are you sure you don't want to deal with this first? It seems important." Saiki promptly shakes his head, once again sending another glare towards the frightened boy.

"Normally I would but with the things going on in his mind I think that it's safer for you to leave first."

What in the world did Saiki see?

Something told me that I would sleep a lot more peacefully if I didn't ask about it. I gave a slight wave towards the boy before feeling my surroundings begin to change into the familiar setting of my room.

It was dark and painted with shadows, the only light coming from the streets lamplights. The only sign of life being the small whimpering snores that came from Ares who made a home for himself within the sheets of my bed.

A small chuckle escapes my lips, knowing that he was probably waiting for me to climb in next to him and snuggle. "Thank you, Saiki. Getting home by teleporting is way more efficient than walking."

Saiki doesn't seem to be listening, instead, taking glances around the darkroom. Though it was virtually impossible to clearly make out the layout of the room I wouldn't be all that surprised if he could see everything as clear as day.

His attention finally drifts back to me, staring at me through the green tints of his glasses. "This is the first time I've physically been in your apartment."

I stop myself from thinking, controlling my breathing so that it didn't look like his statement stunned me. Saiki had walked her to her apartment on numerous occasions, but he had never once entered the building.

It wasn't like I ever stopped him from coming in, but I also didn't make an effort to invite him in as well. The apartment itself was stunning, with a window wall that gave a great view of the city late at night. Since I was the only one who lived there it was a studio apartment with an upstairs loft.

Aside from that one aspect, the apartment was perfect.

I stiffly smile at up at him and boop his nose, taking him a bit by surprise. "Well, aren't you bold? Do you really want to be alone with me in my apartment?" I joke, trying to divert my thoughts from the stormy thoughts that threatened to leak from my head.

This seems to work as he scrunched up his face before rolling his eyes. "You know that's not true."

My shoulder physically relaxes and I let another giggle pass my lips. "I know. Tell you what, I'll invite you next week so you can take a proper look around. I'll even formally introduce you to the first love of my life."

"I'm not the first?"

"You're a close second."

He hummed and pets my head. "I should probably get back. Don't know what that guy could be doing in my absence."

I nod before bidding him goodnight, waiting and making sure that he was completely out of the vicinity before sighing and glances to the desk that was ab few feet away from where he was standing.
