Modern Harana
I took that opportunity to leave.
"We're eating, Ate. Stop that," Samuel said. I rolled my eyes at umayos na ng upo.
Of course, I'm not going to do that when Daddy's here. Hindi lang niya ako papagalitan. Panigurado 'yon.
"By the way, anong pinag-usapan niyo no'ng kambal ni Priam?" napatingin ako sa kapatid ko.
"Speaking of that guy, close kayo?" My brother is very aloof and has high walls surrounding him, tapos nahingan siya ng pabor ni Primo, it's a big thing.
"Nope, it just happen that he promised to give me a hard baseball with Mr. Toshi's signature in it," binagsak ko ang kutsara ko.
"What?!"
My brother looked at me proudly.
"Now, I feel envious," I sighed.
"You're his friend, you can just ask him."
Right, I can just ask him!
This is just so stupid. I'm feeling helpless and hopeless.
The next day, I was very cautious with my surroundings.
That morning, Claire didn't bombarded me like she does everytime. It feels like she knows that something is going on.
I stretched my arms when our teacher for the final subject left the room.
Bumuga ako ng hangin. I didn't saw him today, I should be thankful for that but why does it feel like the other way?
Parang nanlulumo ako.
I shook my head and erased some stupid thoughts.
Focus, Sabina. Remember how he betrayed you. And remember what Primo told you.
Tinignan ko ang notes sa cellphone ko. Right, I should just focus on my requirements, nang sa gano'n matuwa naman ang pamilya ko sa'kin.
I was already walking on the hallway when our family driver texted me.
