Otaku City: Black Light District

Day 6 {Resolution}

{Side B: Hisoka and Dylan}

BANG! The loud sounds of gunfire surround Black Light District. Dylan and Hisoka can be seen on the rooftops, trying to pursue two others. Ryoko Emily "Arsino" and Jack Walter "Raptor", both highly trained assassins for ShivaCorp and nothing like the other two members Taiyou and Jessie dispatched. Hisoka continues to try and fire bullets at them. Jack turns around to roundhouse Hisoka right in the left rib, his already damaged body has just become a lot worse. He fall into an alleyway and straight into a puddle. Jack drops down in front of him, a smirk embeds on his face "Jesus mate!" He condescending says to Hisoka, painfully suffering on the floor "When I 'erd you and ya team managed to infiltrate big ol' Jesse up there, I thought the dog 'ad more bite then bark". Jack kicks Hisoka over onto his back, the pain is overwhelming, Hisoka starts blacking out. "NO NO!" Jack says while kicking him a second time "I need ya awake 'sunshine'. A small blade materialises in Jack right hand "Since ur not Shivacorp property, I ain't legally allowed to take your life 'sigh' which does suck..." he quickly zips above Hisoka's head "But I can still make ya feel a shit ton'a pain". Jack grabs Hisoka's head, gripping it nice and tightly. He then thrusts his knife right into Hisoka's left eye, permanently damaging it. Hisoka tried so hard to scream, but he couldn't catch his breath. Jack on top of his starts maniacally laughing "Let's proceed with the second one!". Before Jack could do anything, a sword starts flying towards him. Jack quickly moves his head, just in time for the sword to barely slice a few of his hairs. Jack turned to see Taiyou standing there, his face began to shape into a frown "Perhaps another time buddy". Jack throws a flash back on the floor and disappears. Taiyou runs up to Hisoka and sits I'm against a wall "Hold tight" Taiyou said "Jessie's coming to help you out. I'm going to assist Dylan". Taiyou wall jumps up to the rooftops and proceeds to help Dylan. Hisoka starts hearing a Kairi's voice "Trust me..." Hisoka blacks out in the alleyway, later being picked up by Jessie and taken back to the marvellous building.

Dylan is constantly firing and Emily, who perfectly deflects them with her hammer. "That's a nice big gun you have there" Emily says to Dylan "Is it there to compensate for something else!". Dylan smiles "I could say the same thing about you, flatchest!". Taiyou leaps up at tries to get a slice into Emily's Shivanano, Emily quickly responds my Smashing him into a nearby building. "I don't have time to waste on you, Kaizoku" Emily says while turning to Dylan "I've gotta finish the job I started". Dylan is puzzled, confused by what she meant by this comment. Emily sits herself down "11 years ago, Masada and Izu Araki were murdered in a car crash". Taiyou cuts in with another attempt to slash her in the neck, Emily smashes him into another building, She continues her story "The reason for their deaths were to cement the outcome of having none of the information about ShivaCorp leaked to the public". Taiyou leaps up for a final time before Emily permanently smashes him towards the ground, incapacitating him. "Heres the funny thing Obake" she says to Dylan "I'm the one who murdered your parents!". Dylan is shocked, mainly because of the fact that his parents murderer was standing in front of him, but also the fact that she knew who they were. Emily smiles "Oh don't be surprised, We always knew about you guys. We were just waiting for the right time to strike". Dylan feels conflicted, he doesn't know which questions to ask "THEN WHY?" he yells " WHY LET US CONTINUE?!?". Emily starts giggling and looks up at Dylan "Because it'll be so funny when you figure it out". All of the damage done to the city seemed to cease and Emily figured it's time to make her exit. She pulled her wrist out to reveal a communicator "Scotty, beam me up!". A sudden stream of light flashed and Emily disappeared from the area. Dylan finally snaps back into reality and helps Taiyou back to the Marvellous building.

Taiyou and Hisoka were teleported back to the house, but Dylan stayed back with Jessie to discuss with Marvellous some possible places to evacuate towards. After that was done, Dylan started to make his leave. Jessie grabs him by the shoulder, Dylan turns around with the same grim look that Hisoka and Taiyou had. Jessie takes a deep breath "What happened?". Dylan looks down and then back up at Jessie "We've got a lot more questions on our hands..."

Taiyou wakes up and realises he's back in his room. All seems well, until he turns to his left to reveal Narumi who was just tending to his wounds. "Narumi are you..." before Taiyou could finish his sentence, he receives a slap in the face from Narumi. Despite everything that had just happened, that seemed to hurt a lot. Taiyou looks at Narumi's face to see that she's crying "You could have died" she chokes "You and Hisoka could have died you stupid idiots!". A large stream of tears stream down Narumi's face "These missions are so dangerous, look what they've done to you!.  CAN'T BELIEVE I LET YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF!". Taiyou looks at Narumi. He opens his mouth, but no words are able to come out.   Narumi continues "When the Marvellous workers brought you and Hisoka in, I realised how much I failed to protect you". Taiyou finally speaks up "Narumi. You aren't my mother..." Narumi snaps right back "WELL I SEEM TO BE THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS BAD!". Narumi breaths heavily "What if I tell Tsuki. O-or your Aunty, will you stop then!?!". Taiyou looks at her with disbelief "Narumi, you can't be serious. You know we can't tell the-". Narumi looks at Taiyou directly in the eyes "WELL ITS THE ONLY WAY YOU'LL BE SAFE!" the tears continue to run down Narumi's face "I-I care about you Taiyou, you're my best friend. I can't let you keep doing this to yourself...". Narumi collapses on the floor, all the emotional tension is getting to her. Taiyou quickly leans sideways to fall right next to Narumi, landing on his shoulder. "TAIYOU" Narumi shrieks "A-are you okay, are you hurt?!? Are yo-". Before Narumi finishes her sentence, Taiyou moves toward her and wraps his arms around her. Narumi is confused and doesn't know what to do. Taiyou then begins to say "Thank you Narumi" Narumi's heart stopped beating for a second "Thank you so much for caring. I understand why you're so concerted about me". Taiyou pulls himself away from Narumi "But I need you to understand. After today, all of us have questions we need to be answered. Which is why I need to keep fighting. I need to fight for the answers for all of my questions. Even if I get damaged as much as this. Do you understand me?" Narumi looks at Taiyou. This boy that used to be shy and disconnective has changed into something so completely different. Narumi smiles while her lips tremble "Yes. I understand" she sniffs. Taiyou sighs in relief "Thank you" he says. Taiyou pulls Narumi closer to him again. But this time, it wasn't a hug. Taiyou positioned Narumi so that her body and face were directly opposite to Taiyou's. Narumi starts shifting a lot closer to Taiyou. In that dimly lit room, Taiyou and Narumi stare at each other in the silent room. Both of their hearts start beating incredibly fast. And in those last moments, the two of them lean towards each other and...
