As I came to, I was in an unfamiliar room. It had flowery wallpaper, a rather large bookshelf with plenty of familiar reads. The Essence of Heroism, Being a Hero isn't all Fun and Games and Vigilantes through History. As I take in more of my surroundings, I realise that I'm laying on a rather comfy double bed right next to a familiar head of hair. It is then, I see his eyes open and I see just how peaceful he is. There's not a speck of hatred or sorrow on his face, almost like an innocent child who knows none of the horrors of the world.

"Looks like you're awake, that's great" the mysterious stranger speaks, I'm just overcome with waves of calming energy. Is this the effect of his quirk, where's my notebook, I need to find out if his quirk is voice activated or if it's always active.
"This isn't my quirk, you seem to be very interested in a lot of heroes and quirks" wait, I was mumbling again?!
"O-Oh, u-uh. What's your name sorry" I ask politely, I don't want to give off a bad impression. What if he already thinks I'm weird. Why would he help me anyways, people usually just look the other way if I'm in trouble.
"My name is Yosuke Suou, and don't worry about what I think of you. What's your name?" Yosuke, he gives off such a peaceful impression. I can't tell if this is real or if everything has been some crazy dream, or he's trying to manipulate me in some way. He can see the confusion on my face, I'm not exactly hiding my expressions or emotions.
"O-Oh, I'm Izuku Midoriya, also, where am I? Thanks for saving me from that villain by the way." I reply, still trying to take in my surroundings. Yosuke gets up and sits down in the chair across from me, his movements are so free of tension, does he have an ulterior motives or something? Why would he help me and bring me to a place I don't even know where it is.
"It was nothing, as for where you are. You're inside the headquarters for my organization, have you heard of E.Q.U.A.L?" E.Q.U.A.L, they've made headlines the last few days as a vigilante organisation. It's illegal but the most serious crimes they've committed have mainly been unauthorised quirk usage. Apparently from the news stories, E.Q.U.A.L stands for the Extreme Quintessential Underdog and Allies Legion. Tacky name but the acronym shows what they stand for.
"Of course, E.Q.U.A.L is the vigilante organization that saves everyone no matter the job, they steal money from the rich and greedy and give it all away to the poor, they've even exposed several pro heroes who were discovered to commit horrible crimes" it's true, many high ranking heroes have fallen due to the exposure of their crimes and plenty of government officials cast them off as villains. The general public however have mixed emotions about them, in recent polls, 20.7% see them as true heroes who just do what the professionals can't, 61.4% argue that they are just petty criminals and should all be arrested, then the other 17.9% see them as vigilantes that are dangerous but do good things for people.
"You're mumbling a bit but that's a part of our organization, I happened to look at one of these notebooks. It's a little charred but I can still read it, you're quite the fanboy are you not?" So Yosuke has seen my fanboy notes, an invasion of privacy but nonetheless I don't have to explain myself and he seems impressed. I'm proud of my notes and I'm happy that someone seems to acknowledge them.
