Remember a past not dead.
Eyes glazed and mouth open, watch me dance with our happiness and twirl away from the singing screams, a natural sound amongst the birds and winds that completes the silence rather than breaking it. A sad truth I choose to ignore as I come closer to ending this condemning clash, closer to the edge of the abyss my foot likes to tantalise, stroking the rim of it - so close yet so far.
You're safe though. You stay a distance away and ignore the laments. Why don't you fall in? You're losing the willpower though, and past the smirks and knowing eyes there's understanding, and a hand to lead the way.
Forget the present not worth opening.
Like a baby, you latch onto reality, an amateur's mistake for you know nothing of the world you look upon with child eyes and decorate with fairy lights. This is no dream! Run away from the delusion you delude yourself with and dive down deep into the darkness that panics you so.
There's nothing left for you here.
Make no future.
Have no fear. Only pure felicity awaits you at the far end. Fry the currents of your brain and free yourself from Sanity's chains. Fall lower and lower and forget those worldly events that concerns you not. Remember only the fantasies and daydreams from before.
Forever consume this intoxicant I bestow upon you. Don't stop. Feel the numbness flow through your veins, back to your heart that begs for more. Don't deprive yourself of this blissful ecstasy you've come to crave. Play back those sorely missed moments and never leave this state, a state only you can control from behind eye-lidded screens as you watch the images fly past you in a blur.
When the nostalgia hits, you'll never feel pain.
