Higher and higher I am from the ground,
My excitement threatens to explode from me.
Above the crowds and shouts and laughs,
I'm unstoppable; my ascent to the top inevitable.I'm on a wheel of colour!
Every one on the spectrum.
Just like the moods I feel,
A kaleidoscope in its own way.Now that I'm at the summit,
No one can stop this.
This fleeting moment of happiness
I grasp by the scruff of its neck.A smile-seizing shudder.
I'm moving down now.
The sky getting darker
And the lights going dimmer.Colour vanishes.
I can't see a thing.
It's painstaking -
I can't keep up.Here's the dark ground again.
