"They ask you to be intelligent in a world where DUMB choices makes you the WINNER!"
-(unused dialogue) "That man must still be living his life free of care, even after what he did to my mother..."
"Why do I wear a mask? Same reason you're wearing one."
-(And all the Phantom Thieves wear masks!--) No, no, don't go Illuminati on me, guys, stay with me! Stay with me!
"Now, I know what you're thinking. "I'M NOT WEARING A MASK!" HAVE YOU LOOKED AT YOURSELF LATELY? You're clearly in denial. Or, you just simply don't know, because your mask... it looks just like... your FACE!"
-Ever notice how, in his Black Mask form at least, Akechi doesn't remove his mask when he summons his Persona? Maybe he's just gotten so powerful that he doesn't need to remove his mask, nay, his FACE to reveal his true self...
"But doesn't that mean what you're trying to hide is now what you are?"
-"Case closed, this is how your "justice" ends..."
And imagine Akechi saying THIS before the boss fight: "I had a heart... I had a soul... And worst of all... I showed it to them..." And that's five years of character development down the drain in 3... 2... "LOKI!"
