Louisa's p.o.v

"It's not your fault-" "but it is! I knew we were in a horrible fight, a-and-and" I couldn't finish as I continued to cry, but Raph pulled me up. "Quit it with the sad talk, usually you're the one trying to cheer everyone up, now it's my turn. If Leo was awake, he'd tell you to not be so down on yourself, you couldn't have known. It was also his choice to jump into that hit, so stop blamin yourself!" Raph says while looking me in the eye. Our faces are so close it's making me feel awkward, so instead of moving away, I went for a hug.

As I cry into his shoulder he pats my back, but the sound of Leo groaning got our attention, we separate and see that he's waking up. "Leo..." I say and smile as happy tears come, Raph smiles big saying "guys! Guys! Get up here!" I smile big. Words couldn't express how I feel seeing that he's up, before Mikey could, I go to hug Leo. I wasn't as rough as Mikey was in the show, but I hugged Leo saying "I can't believe it." My tears are still going down as I hear Donnie ask "Leo?" Leo chuckles "hey guys" I smile at hearing him.

"Let's get you out of here" I say and we help him out of the tub, then down the stairs towards the couch, Baxter got some stuff to checkup on Leo. Donnie used the stuff as we all explain what's happened since he's been out, well, the important stuff at least. As Baxter checks Leo's heartbeat, Leo asks "so we've been here for three months? I've been out that long?" I look away at that. April is the one to answer saying "you had us worried sick, Leo... Raph and Louisa barely slept." "Ah, it was nothing" we both say as we continue to look away, but I know he's looking at me.

"So, like, why does he sound different?" Casey asks, making Donnie say "he's sustained damage to his throat" and Baxter to say "pretty much everywhere elssse for that matter." I look up at Leo sadly as he still sounds like he's in pain with his leg, so Baxter grabbed out the medicine. "Here, take ssssome more of the mutagen medicine, you'll be healed in no time." Baxter put some of the medicine on the spoon and held it towards Leo, who swallowed it down. "Ow, that tastes like it's supposed to come out of me, not go into me" Leo says disgusted.

Raph sits next to Leo as he wraps an arm around his shoulders saying "first thing tomorrow, we're gonna start training tomorrow, you and me. I'll have you on your feet in no time bro" Leo and Raph are smiling at one another, when April ruined it. "We should all get to bed, now that Leo is awake, you two can finally sleep" April says like she's our mom. I roll my eyes "look who's finally worried about me" I say as we all get up and go towards our rooms. Before I could close my door a three-fingered green hand stops it "ow" Donnie says, so I open the door.

"Hey Donnie, what's up?? Ya know, besides us for some reason" I joke as I stand at the doorway, he nervously laughs "well, I just wanted to give you something." Even as he stands straight I just notice his right hand behind his back, like, he's holding something. "Before we left New York, we all grabbed something important to us" Donnie says nervously. Then he shows me Beary, I gasp and smile big "you... you grabbed Beary for me??" I ask softly. Donnie scratches the back of his neck saying "yeah, I thought you'd want her since you couldn't grab her while you were out."

I look him in the eyes and smile as I accept Beary from him "thank you so much Donnie, you don't know how much she means to me." Donnie blushes a bit saying "well, anything for you" I blush a bit, but notice something else in his hand. "Is.... is that my mask?" I ask while raising an eye-ridge, his blush darkens "y-yeah... I picked it up for you. Do you want it back?" I side smile and say "keep it, because I can just take yours" he didn't understand at first. Then I take his mask off and put it on myself "thank you, have a good sleep, hope you don't have to count sheep."

-next day because I can-

I yawn as I wake up, the smell of fresh air the only thing I smell "Mikey must've just given people cereal" I mumble and get out of bed. Donnie's mask is on my bedside table, so I smile softly and put it on along with my belt and kunais. Sighing in satisfaction I go out and downstairs "what cereal do we got this time?" I ask and sit down. They're all staring at me "what? Is there something on my face?" I ask as I get up for cereal. Mikey nods saying "yeah, my bros mask, wait where is Donnie??" Casey is glaring at me though.

"What, you want me to go loco on you, homie??" I ask while crossing my arms, Casey just rolled his eyes while walking out 'looks like he chose his girl.' With that I just go to my cereal and grab a spoon as I start eating, waiting for something to happen. "Hey Louisa, want to go walk through the forest, since you don't have to wait for Leo to wake up?" Donnie asks me. I finish my bite and say "sure, after my breakfast, I'll go for a walk" Donnie smiles big and gets himself cereal. Then he ate it quickly and put his bowl away, so I laugh a little and finish my cereal at my own pace.
