Chapter 14

Regina's POV

I get into the lunch line and I see Robin and his friends next to me. Jefferson cuts me getting in front of me and he smirks. I roll my eyes and grab a chicken salad. I grab some ranch dressing and an apple. I keep moving with the line trying to ignore them.

"Where's your girlfriend?" Jefferson asks.

"I don't have a lease on her."

"Maybe you should." He says. I turn to him frustrated.

"And what is that supposed to mean Jefferson?" I ask.

"Just that she doesn't get tied down. She's a player."

"You're one to talk didn't you just cheat on Jessica? With her best friend right?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"Whatever Regina." He says walking away. I pay and Robin grabs my arm.

"Hey." Robin says.

"Go away and don't touch me."

"Come on."

"I have a girlfriend and I'm pretty sure she doesn't want you around me. So go away Robin."

"She controls you now?"

"Oh my... for the love of god. I respect my girlfriend and she doesn't like you and I don't like you either. I don't trust you and I know I shouldn't."

"Whatever. You know I won't give up."

"You really should." I walk away and I feel him behind me.

"You want to be with her?" I turn around and groan.

"Yes! Why else am I dating her? I want to be with her."

"You want sex with her? You're a virgin and you want her as your first?"

"It's not about sex Robin."

"What else does she want?"

"A relationship! That's all. Now bye." I walk away shaking my head. I see Emma already there with Ruby and some other girl I think I know. Emma frowns.

"Baby what's wrong? You okay?"

"No! Robin and Jefferson are talking crap about you to me like that'll make me not want you or something. I'm just so tired of it. Why can't I just be with you and be happy?" I ask frustrated. I sit down and look at Emma.

"What happened?" She asks wrapping her arm around my waist and I feel tears in my eyes.

"Oh Gina don't cry."

"I'm just so sick of this. I'm happy, you make me happy and they won't leave me alone."

"Do you want me t-"

"No I want you to leave it alone. I'll deal with it myself." I turn and start eating my salad.

"I can talk to them."

"No you can't. Robin will start something or maybe Jef will. I don't want another fight. Please worry about school."

"Fine." I kiss her cheek and then steal her cry. She laughs.

"This is Belle." Emma says.

"Hi we have class together don't we?"

"Yeah. History and I work at the Library haven't seen you in a while." I nod.

"Oh yeah! You looked familiar I just couldn't think about where." She chuckles. Ruby wraps her arm around the girl and I smile. They are so cute.

"What are you guys doing after school?" Ruby asks.
