Taisiya's POV

It had only been a week since I started travelling with Ikki and Kite. Probably only a bit over 7 days. We hadn't even planned anything major to do, nor planned anything in general.

So it had been a mystery for me how I found myself in such a comfortable relationship with the two in such a short time.

"Of course it sounds silly! I don't want people calling me that what does that even mean in Japanese?!"

"It's your fault for having such a complicated name in the first place."

"Oh wow Taisiya is such a complicated name- It's called Cultural! Difference!"

"Exactly, which is why you need a nickname because your 'Russian' name is too complicated to say."

"Then suggest a better nickname than that!"

"Ichiro! Taisiya!" Kite turned to us with a warning look in his eyes. Hearing the commanding tone, Ikki and I instantly pulled back our hands that had been pulling at each others hair and stood up straight. Kite slowly stared at both of before muttering one word.

"Behave."

It was unbelievable how Kite could evoke such cold chills in only one word.

If it had been any other word, I wouldn't have understood what Kite was saying but in the span of only one week, the amount of time Kite had to utter that word was enough for me to become familiar with it.

Yet it still managed to send shivers down my spine.

When Kite finally turned his back away from us, Ikki and I turned to each other. "Silver Mama can be so scary at times, I wonder where he got it from," I whispered to Ikki.

"I don't know, do you think we'll end up growing up like him in the future?"

"I don't think so, you're too straight-forward to get a lone wolf vibe like Silver Mama."

"He does have that vibe. Do you think Silver Mama has any friends?"

"Have you never met any of his friends?"

"He's met a lot of people but I don't know if he considers them friends. You don't think he's socially awkward do you?"

"Well, before I joined he only had a kid as a companion. I would put some thought into that idea."

Out of nowhere, Kite turned 180 degrees in front of us and looked down at us with a hint of annoyance. He spoke in Japanese and from the look on his face, it wasn't something pretty.

Hearing a soft chuckle from Ikki, I looked at him in question. Ikki glanced at me and translated Kite's words with a smile.

"I don't need to speak Russian to know you're making fun of me."

I couldn't hold in my laughter.

"Taisiya!"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hey Ikki, how come you can speak Russian?" I suddenly questioned the white-haired boy eating beside me.

Ever since Kite and Ikki informed me that this world had a different map from the world I previously lived in, it occurred to me that it made no sense for Ikki who was only 8 to know a language even Kite hadn't known of.
