Getting Back What Was Lost

She was in middle of an unknown crowd as a strong accent of human blood filled her mind, her throat were burning with the lust to drink the human blood. She wanted to rip apart each throat and drink their blood. It was a huge dark hallway filled with girls wearing the same type of clothes. No one was there by her side, neither her family nor Jacob. Suddenly she felt a warm hand on her shoulder, she turned and saw a completely alienated face of a guy nearly 18, someone whom she never saw but thought knew forever, she watched him closely and he opened his mouth to speak something...

Renessme woke up with a start, little sweat drops formed into her forehead, she looked at the wall clock that read 6 am in the morning. She got out of the bed, and opened the curtain letting the bright sunshine enter into her room. She had a shower and changed into blue jeans with a blank tank top. Her head was still wet and she left it in the untidy state. Her stomach grumbled as she went downstairs, much accepted the Cullen’s were more than awake. Edward was enthusiastically watching a arm wrestling match between Bella and Emmett, while Jasper and Esme pitied the fifth table that broke into pieces. Carlisle was into his book so much that it did not bother him much about the surrounding till the time he noticed Renessme. He walked up to her and hugged her, while she felt a cold shiver ran down her spine and Carlisle instantly relished her as she looked confusingly at the match and asked

“Who is winning this time?”

He smiled at her and announced proudly

“It is Bella again, though her newborn phrase is long gone yet she has more strength than Emmett,”

Renessme watched Edward smiling as Emmett gave a small cry of pain and said lightly

“Looks like dad‘s enjoying Uncle Emmett‘s pain but I feel bad for Uncle Jasper and Grandma they are losing their dear furniture”

“But I feel they will face the worst consequences when Alice and Rose return they will not tolerate the fact that their dearest furniture’s are broken into pieces”

“I think I should stop them”

Carlisle nodded his head in approval, as she squeezed her way between Jasper, Esme and Edward , she loved squeezing her way in middle of people and with a broad smile said

“Stop you both, in this way you all will be destroying all the furniture’s, go outside and break some boulders instead”

They stopped instantly as Bella pulled away and hugged her little daughter and Edward hugged her too wishing her good morning accompanied by Jasper, Emmett and Esme. Before Bella could further exchange a conversation with her Emmett announced

“The last to read outside will be washing the others car for a weekend”

They witnessed both of them rush down their way as Renessme chuckled to herself, Edward wrapped his arms round her shoulder and asked

“So dear do you want your dad to cook something for you?”

She nodded her head in a disapproval and announced

“No dad I will have it at Billy’s moreover I have to make up to Jacob, just for some silly reasons I cannot lose my best friend”

Edward gave a smile to her as she put on her sneakers and walked off the house watching her Mom and Uncle Fight over the matter who reached first, she smiled to herself. Her family indeed was the most loving family of all and the best thing they accepted her mom the way she was, Bella had told hers and Edward’s love story to Renessme and she just loved the fact that how a pack of vampires accepted her mother in her human form readily, if it was not for mom‘s condition to be married to dad she would never change into a vampire. But Renessme really wondered how Charlie was unaware that mom got pregnant before marriage and accepted her dad and mom‘s relationship. Breaking out of her chain of thoughts, she saw she was already in the driveway of Billy‘s house. She was walking faster than usual which meant she was changing. She got inside to house to see Billy reading to himself a newspaper by the fire place. But at the sight of her, he kept the newspaper aside and dragged his wheelchair to her. They exchanged a sweet smile as Billy asked in his typical humorous tone

“How is my little doll?”

She smiled at his gesture, for as long as she knew Billy was always very warm and sweet to her. He treated her like his own daughter, and she loved to be around him as he always had a chest of interesting story about Jacob‘s childhood that would bring Jacob to shame and watching him embarrassed was really fun. She looked at him as she placed her palm on his cheek and he saw the entire ‘Proposal Incident’ with a little grief and more fun in his voice he said

“That is the reason why the wolf was so grumpy yesterday”

Renessme smiled at him, he always had something funny to crack the moment as even before asking Billy understood her words and said

“Jake upstairs in his room probably sleeping and snoring away to glory”

With a happy smile on her face, she walked upstairs and opened the door to his bedroom, she had been in this house for so many times that she knew each corner of the house and also knew that her best friend always opened the door of his bedroom when he was tensed or angry. She walked up to him with a smile as she watched him sleeping curdled up in his bed with ripped shorts and bare chest  while his hands hung loosely from the edge of the bed. He looked like a baby while sleeping no one could guess that this innocent guy could stir up so much of anger. She pulled the blanket over his body protectively and took the notepad and wrote a note

“I will be in La Push, so if you feel that you need to hear my side to then please come…Jake I don’t want to lose you

Hugs Nessie”

She placed the note on the mirror as she was sure that every morning he would look at the mirror first before starting with his daily routine. She walked downstairs and being aware that it will take another hour for Jacob to be awake, she cooked breakfast along with Billy and had it laughing heartily to his jokes. After breakfast she bide him goodbye and walked away to La Push. Today it was empty as she sat on the big boulder and the wind hit her face delicately. She wondered if Jacob and she would get back to their friends zone again without any awkward situation.

The alarm screamed into Jacob‘s ear for the seventh time, as he smashed it with his one blow. He stretched himself and was shocked to find his body completely covered, he jumped up from the bed and went to the mirror to settle his hair as usual. His attention was driven to the note and he read it with a smile. He without bothering to fresh up or change, went downstairs to find Billy sitting with empty plates on breakfast table as Billy announced

“She left before twenty minutes your breakfast is in the fridge”

He smiled at his dad and bide him bye, as he rushed to La Push. It really wondered him how did his dad know what was going on his mind. On reaching La Push he found Renessme sitting on the boulder, she looked completely angelic with the sun rays falling heavily on her, as her hair {which was dried by now} fell loosely on her shoulder. How could someone not fall in love with her? With a wide smile in his face he called happily

“Nessie”

She should up and looked at him, she ran to him as he scooped her into his arms, she got back what was lost, she got back Jacob. While they embraced each other with happy smiles someone from below envied Jacob ‘s closeness to Renessme.
