Shocking Secrets

Renessme POV

I was a half vampire yet my ears were as sharp as of any vampire, his words did not go missed by me, I looked up at him. For a time the tears froze in my eyes, my heart actually stopped and my face went completely pale. I could see the change of expression in Jake ‘s face as I opened my mouth and asked him

“What…what do you mean by that Jake?”

His eyes wandered everywhere, as I could see he grew nervous with some scribble words he managed to say

“It’s nothing…Nessie. I did not mean it”

I felt my anger rising in my eyes, if instead of Jake palm I had something else in my hands it would have been broken into pieces as I tried to suppress my anger and said

“Jake we only say the things that we mean; I need to know what you meant”

Suddenly I felt a cold hand on my shoulder, I looked up and saw it was dad; he gave his genuine smile and said

“Dear, Esme waiting I think you should go and have your dinner”

I stood up and looked directly into his eyes and the very next moment I knew he was lying, something was being hidden, something that I needed to know, was is true what Jacob had just said, I mean did I come as a unwanted child to dad, what was going on? I did not need to continue my dad answered my queries as he said in a calm way

“There nothing like that Renessme, you know how much we love you…we always wanted you. I always wanted you baby…Jake ‘s just did not get the right words to console you and so he just came up with something as silly as this”

“Dad what are you hiding? More important why are you hiding it Dad?”

“You know it is nothing like that baby…Please just let it go”

“I swear I will, just tell me what is it all about and I promise to never bring this up…dad is it true that you all wanted me dead”

I saw his teeth clutched, as his body stiffens, he looked away and this all was a clear sign of him lying to me. Within a twinkle of an eye I could feel a cold icy arms round me, it took me some time to realize it was Aunt Alice; she looked at me and said me in a voice filled with panic

“Renessme dear, we all loved you and we are sincerely sorry for lying to you baby”

A tiny drop of tear trickled down my eyes as my dad roared in anger

“Alice she does not know YET”

Alice left me and turned towards my dad, as she said regretting her statement

“Am sorry Edward I just saw a vision when you told her the truth and I thought she needed consolation so I just …I am so sorry Edward”

They turned towards me, as my head was bowed down with my hair covering my face, I did not want them to see my tears, my family and my best friend lied to me, I felt Jake arm round my shoulder and I shoved it off the very next moment I felt it as I heard my dad say in a completed defeated voice

“Fine Renessme…I guess it has been really long and we should tell you the truth”

I gave a short nod, as I followed them inside the house; everyone looked tensed as they saw my teary eyes, the pack had stopped eating, grandma came out from the kitchen, Aunt Rosalie and Uncle Emmett concentrated on me, Uncle Jasper paused his chess game with Mom as they looked before they could say anything dad announced

“I think it is time we confess Renessme”

I saw everyone face turned pale {except for Leah of course}, as mom came up clutching to dad‘s knowing how hard it would be on him, as he said
