Just a few notes before you start reading the actual story (she's a bit lengthy sorry):
1. I do NOT own Wizards of Waveely Place, so any character actually from that universe is NOT MINE.
2. The story switches "point of view" (I use this term very loosely) every so often. So if you see a tilde (~) it's a POV change, and if you see two (~~) it's a scene change within the chapter.
3. I'm just assuming, through what research I have done, that Max is about 15 (year 9 / freshman in high school) in the movie, so that's the age I picked for the main OC. Please just go with it even if it's wrong haha.
4. Since I made my OC family Italian, there will be some parts written in the language. Nothing too long, just phrases like Theresa does in the show with Spanish. All the parts not in English will be italicized with definitions at the end of the chapter. Also I'm just using google translate for most of these things; I know a little Italian, but my knowledge is not sufficient enough to get everything right. So if I get something wrong, let me know.
5. Okay so... I don't have an older brother, I have an older sister, so I'm trying my best with the relationship between my OC siblings. I do have a couple guy friends and cousins that I'm pretty close with, so I'm basing their relationship off of my relationship with those boys.
6. Spells! So I have a list of spells used in the show, but there's things I want to use spells for that just dont have cannon spells linked to them. In this case, a lot of the spells and rhymes included in this story are of my own creation (some of them are probably really bad haha sorry).
7. I'm sorry for any mistakes I make, whether it be the overall plot, character personalities, or just plain writing errors. I'll try my best to follow the actual existing movie plot to the best of my ability (I will rewatch the movie as many times as it takes to get it down haha). I also want to stay true to everyone's personalities, but seeing as I'm not the writer of WOWP, I don't know exactly how to portray everyone perfectly.
