1979 London was calling. Paul and I hopped on the first train we saw today. It was a crowded train that was heading to London's rock club.

I wake up every mornin', I stumble out of bed

Stretchin' and yawnin', another day ahead

It seems to last forever and time goes slowly by

Till babe and me's together, then it starts to fly

"Bumpy train ride." I said.

"Hell yeah." Paul said.

Train 109 was the oldest train ever made. If you ask me, the train should be made into scrap metal.

'Cause the moment that he's with me, time can take a flight

The moment that he's with me, everything's alright

Night time is the right time, we make love

Then it's his and my time, we take off

"Seriously, why don't they fix the train? I can't even think right because my body is shaking." I said.

I was hoping that the conductor would hear me and put a word into the company that fixes the trains.

My baby takes the morning train

He works from nine to five and then

He takes another home again

To find me waitin' for him

"It's not that bad." Paul said while lighting up a cigarette.

"Not that bad? Our bodies are literally being shook and it's unpleasant." I said.

"At least we're together. That's all that matters." Paul said.

My baby takes the morning train

He works from nine to five and then

He takes another home again

To find me waitin' for him

"That's true." I said. "I just wish I had comfort."

"I know." Paul said while resting his hand on my lap.

He takes me to a movie or to a restaurant

To go slow dancing, anything I want

Only when he's with me, I catch light

Only when he gives me, makes me feel alright

I looked out the window trying to make the best out of the bumpy ride. I hated it. Hopefully we got to the club soon.

My baby takes the morning train

He works from nine to five and then

He takes another home again

To find me waitin' for him

Once we got off the train, I gave a sigh of relief. No more bumpy ride. Once we walked into club doors, I was ready to party.

All day I think of him, dreamin' of him constantly

I'm crazy mad for him and he's crazy mad for me

When he steps off that train, amazingly full of fight

Work all day to earn his pay, so we can play all night

Paul mingled with members from other bands while I sat at a table drinking. Flashing colored lights and music lifted my spirits.

My baby takes the morning train

He works from nine to five and then

He takes another home again

To find me waitin' for him
