Although Harry had just heard some life-changing news he still had to act like everything was fine.
He was sat next to Niall at the lunch table across their new table mates Lottie and Julie. Julie had started talking about Daniel and how shitty he is as a person.
"He's the worst person I've ever dated, and I'm usually not one to put people down, but oh my god that boy is something else. I mean the whole school knows that he was the one who did that to you after your friend beat him up, so now everyone saw his true colors."
"This might be a little personally but Daniel was the first person I kinda hinted to about how I was feeling before coming out to everyone and fully transitioning. He was so repulsed and called me weird for even having thoughts about it. I stayed with him for a while longer after that, until I finally ended it when he freaked out when I fully told him about who I was finally becoming. He still pretends he doesn't know who I am until this day. Anyway, you guys didn't really need to know that or ask, but I just can't believe he's still being the same cruel person he was with me." Julie says and everyone at the table wants to hug her and also punch Daniel in the face.
"Thank you for sharing that with us, you're so brave and you didn't deserve to go through any of that, just like I didn't deserve what he did to me. He's just an evil person, but karma is real and he'll get what's coming to him. Besides, I think Louis gave him just some of what he deserves." Harry snorts because although he doesn't like violence he kinda liked this one, oops.
"Definitely." Julie agrees with a smile and they talk amongst each other for the rest of lunch and by the end their inviting Julie to sit with them whenever she wants to, which she agrees before they're all off to their last class.
Harry tries to pay attention to his last class, he really does, but all he thinks about is how he's going to tell Louis. Does he just straight up tell Louis that Eleanor is a lying cheating bitch? No, he wasn't that bold.
He had to let him know in a gentle way but will Louis believe him? He's pulled out of his thoughts as the bell rings signaling the end of class and his phone buzzes in his back pocket.
Louis: do you want a ride home? Lottie has cheer practice right now so i'm really only here for you, but also we need to talk about something.
Harry's heartbeat picks up because he didn't know what Louis could possibly want to talk about? If anything he should be the one to say that not Louis.
He feels nervous as he walks out of the school doors and heads over to where Louis's car is parked in his usual parking spot. He tries to relax before he's finally inside the car sitting next to a smiling Louis.
"Hi, how was school?" He asks before igniting the car.
"It was actually not as bad as I thought it would, I mean it definitely still sucked but no one said anything rude, at least not directly about it to me, so that's a win in my book." Harry explains as Louis drives away from the school.
"I'm glad then, looks I won't have to fight anyone soon. Are you hungry? I thought we could pick up some food and then go to the park and eat, we haven't really hung out in a while and I think it'll be nice. Unless you don't want to, which is fine, or I can just take you to your house if you want to go home?" Louis rambles and Harry just smiles endeared by it all.
"I'm starving." Harry says in return and Louis smiles over at him happy that they were going to hang out.

The boys settle on getting sandwiches from some local deli, and apparently, Louis had planned this because he pulls out a big blue blanket from his trunk. They choose to sit and picnic in the back of some local currently empty park where there's a huge piece of plain grass.
