Gemma clears her throat and smiles before speaking.

"I know you all might think this is crazy because it's only been half a year. I just think time shouldn't matter because I know what Andy and I have is rare to find, and he's just everything I want. That's why we're getting married!" Gemma cheers before pulling out a ring from her pocket and placing it on her ring finger. She waves it happily and Andy is sitting next to her with the same excitement on his face.

It's silent, and Harry knows things are about to be awkward when his mom doesn't start talking immediately or smiling. She sits there with her mouth hung open.

Harry smiles tightly at Gemma to let her know he's happy for her because that's all he can force himself to do right now.

Louis looks over at him like he's confused about how he should be reacting, and Harry sighs so much for a normal family dinner.

"Gemma, can I speak to you privately in the kitchen?" Anne finally speaks up and Gemma's face falls. Harry feels like hiding because he knows exactly what's about to happen.

Gemma stomps into the kitchen behind Anne and not even the swinging door can block out their voices.

"Gemma this is crazy! You've known him for less than a year. Listen, things might be good right now but things are going to be different when you're married and start living together." Harry cringes as he watches Andy stare down at his food.

"So, um Andy do you play any sports?" Louis speaks up trying to ease the obvious tension in the room.

Harry is so thankful for him and squeezes his hand as a thank you. Andy takes the bait and they start talking about some soccer team he used to play on.

"Why are you being like this? You know this is exactly why I went to dads for a while, he's supportive. You never just support me you always give me opinions I didn't ask for and negative thoughts. If you can't support it then don't even bother coming to the wedding." Gemma says loudly before she's storming back into the kitchen.

"Andy we're leaving. I'll get our suitcases you can wait in the car. Harry, It was so nice seeing you again, you and your boyfriend are invited to the wedding. I'll give you the invitation before I leave." Gemma has tears in her eyes but she's obviously trying hard to not break down.

"Gems, please wait I'll talk to her. Where are you two even going to stay?" Harry says standing up and pulling his sister into a hug.

"Probably in a hotel, and I'm sorry I ruined our dinner. I just thought it was the perfect time to announce it because everyone was so happy and it was supposed to be good news." Gemma explains and Harry feels terrible for her.

Before Harry can even speak his mother is already running towards them.

"Gemma, wait please don't leave, I'm sorry honey! I just reacted without thinking, and I'm sorry, I just don't want you to make the same mistakes I made. If Andy makes you really happy, and if you think this is what's best for you... then I fully support it I'm sorry please forgive me!" Anne begs Gemma with pleading sad eyes.

Gemma cries and Anne pulls her into a tight hug. Honestly, Harry would be confused but he's used to it. This isn't the first time this household has an emotional fight that lasts only a couple minutes before everyone is making up.

"Wow, that was quick." Louis whispers into his ear starling him. Louis was now standing next to him where he was still watching his mom and Gemma.

"This happens all the time, We're going up to my room." Harry whispers back before pulling Louis along as they sneak out of the dining room where Andy is currently being pulled into the crying hug.
