"And that is why I should be your winter formal Queen," Jane smiled as she finished her 'I'm amazing speech' and had sat back down to her 'I'm amazing seat' and drew hearts on her book with her 'I'm amazing pen'.All her friends smiled at her. Everyone smiled at her, who doesn't love her? It's annoying how everyone copies her, I don't know if that's because she rules our entire year or maybe everyone else just happens to be in love with her. I seriously think that society has an issue, people just judge so much. I mean that's probably why everyone acts the same. Except me. One day I will get away from here, adventure, be with people that are a little less obsessed with pleasing people and appearance. I'm really not like that.
Being a Blackwood is like being a tiny ant in a world full of elephants. In a way I like it, speaking in front of more that two people makes me really nausea and having perfect hair and thighs isn't quite up my street. But for some reason, everyone else in the school, city, country, world - wants to be like that. And they are.
The bell went, I walked home as usual. My parents both work and have done since forever, so nothing new. There never is. I want change, I want something exciting and fun and different. No one else seems to need that though.
What if I am the only one?
