"Adam ruzek what are you doing out of bed" I mumbled leaning against the door frame rubbing my eyes.
"I'm making breakfast for my amazing girlfriend" he winced turning around to face me, trying to hide the pain with his smile.
"Which is not bed rest mr" I scolded raising my eyebrow at him. "You aren't gonna heal if you don't rest"
"Baby I'm fine" he mumbled wincing as he turned back around to finish breakfast.
"Tell that you your face then" I said wrapping my arms around his waist placing soft kisses on his bare back. "Just please take it easy"
"I'm bored out of my mind" he sighed
"I know baby, I know but I don't want you making your injuries worse ok" I whispered against his skin. "Just promise me you will take things easy"
"I promise" he whispered turning around slowly before kissing my head.
"Good because until you are back at work I'm off as well" I smiled as I looked up at him.
"You've taken time off" he asked
"Of course I did baby, you did it for me" I whispered placing a soft kiss on his bare chest. "Now breakfast can wait and you are coming back to bed"
As we laid in bed watching pointless day time tv and cuddling I couldn't help but smile.
"What you grinning at you goof" Adam laughed lowly.
"Just thinking" I mumbled tracing my fingers across his bare chest.
"About?"
"Us" I laughed "how less than a year ago we was constantly at each other's throats"
"Do you know what that was?" He whispered "sexual tension, we both knew it was there"
"But i was only fooling myself as it was easier to make out I hated you than admit I wanted you in my bed" I said looking up at him.
"You wanted me in your bed" he smirked looking down at me.
"Well yeah isn't that obvious" I laughed "when ever you was round well when I knew you was coming round I always made sure I either had a low cut top on or my short shorts. And because you didn't get the message it pissed me off"
"I got the message girl, trust me. I just never went there because of Kev" he said running his fingers through my hair. "Do you know the amount of times I just wanted to pin you to the wall when Kev nipped out and how many cold showers I had to take because of you"
"I have an idea" I giggled biting my lip.
"Oh really well I think I've rested enough to have a little fun" he smirked before placing hot kisses down my neck.

"Wow you was rested" I panted as I flopped down on my pillow
"I even surprised myself" he laughed laying next to me.
"Your not in any pain" I asked rolling into my side.
"Nah I'm good" he smiled "now here's what we are gonna do, you are gonna go get a shower and make your self look even prettier, even though I don't think that's possible. And then we are gonna go out for food"
"That's not taking it easy is it" I stated raising my eyebrow.
"And neither was having sex but we still did it" he smirked "and I haven't actually taken my girl out on a date since we got together"
"Mmmm suppose I can't moan at that" I giggled "one condition though Ruzek"
"What's that baby"
"You join me in the shower" I giggled
"As if you had to ask that" he said kissing my head. "Now come on we need to leave in a couple of hours"

"How's Adam doing?" Kev asked as the waitress placed our breakfast in front of us.
"He's doing okay, he's getting bored at home though" I said drowning my pancakes in sauce.
"That's a given, bed rest is boring but with our line of work we've all been there" he nodded "now how are you doing bear"
"I'm okay" I nodded
"You sure?"
"Yeah Kev I'm sure, I appreciate you going all protective and big brotherly on me but I'm fine" I smiled
"Just making sure I know how close to home things got" Kev said placing his hand over mine.
"I've got different ways of coping now" I smiled
"Would that be Ruzek?" He asked.
"Yeah it would be" I chuckled "I don't know why but even when things got or get rough knowing he is by my side calms me down and things don't seem that bad"
"Bear do you know what that is?" Kev asked
"Nope" I said shaking my head.
"Little sis that's true love" he grinned
"And that doesn't bother you that it's with your best friend?"
"Why would it? All I want is for you to be happy and if Ruz makes you happy then who am I to stop it. And if anyone has an issue with it or with the age difference then them to your big bro"
