14 - Graduation and Work

Lisa POV

It has been a year since we decide to be with each other. Our life is great. Yes we bicker with each other but there is nothing we cannot solve. Usually it will end with hot sex at night to make up with our bickering.

Chaeng and Jisoo are also still together and more matured in their relationship. I love seeing how Jisoo will make sure Chaeng is always fed with enough food. She really loves Chaeng and I know the feeling with love at first sight. That's what happened to me too.

"We will graduate soon, yeah!!" That's Jisoo shouting her lungs out and Chaeng hit her for being loud.

"Ouch, Baby why.. I am just happy" Jisoo pout and Chaeng gives her a peck making her smile.

"Euww No PDA Chichuuu" I told her off and she just stuck her tongue out not caring with what I say because she continues pecking Chaeng's lips. Chaeng blushed every single time.

"Lili, are you ready for graduation?" Jennie asked and I nod. I can't wait to graduate. By the way, all four of us actually tried our luck to apply for the same company as they are hiring lots of fresh graduate students. Jisoo and I applied for programming position and Chaeng and Jennie are more with System analyst. The interview was done last week and we are waiting for the result today.

"Can't wait for our interview result!" Chaeng told us and us all nod. Suddenly our phone rings one by one and all of us answer the call. We are all so focus on our calls that no one cares about the surrounding. After the call finish, each other starts to smile bright.

"I got the JOB!!" All four of us say it at one go. All of us stuck with the laughing and can't believe ourselves. Me and Jisoo will be in programming department. Jennie and Chaeng will be in System Analyst department. The four of us are so happy that we cook chicken and kimchi fried rice to celebrate. We still save money though.

I called my parents about my work and they are happy with it. Of course they don't have time to come to my graduation. Work is more important to them rather than attending my graduation but I don't mind though, Jennie is with me and that is all that matters.

At Night...

"Lili, I'm so happy we can graduate together. I can't wait to work together with you!" Jennie was so excited for it. In two days' time, we are going to graduate and will start working a week after our graduation. I peck her lips and she smiles at me.

"I am happy too Nini, as long as we can be together, I am always happy. I love you so much Nini..."

"Me too Lili..." and we drift off to sleep.

Time Skip to after Graduation time

"Wuhuuuu, I am a free woman!!" Jisoo was shouting because she felt happy not to have many eye bags and less sleep.

"Not really Chichuuu.. we are working next week.. hahaha"

"Why must you ruin it for me Lisa!!" Jisoo was whining and running to me to hit me. Both of us were running around laughing. Chaeng and Jennie just shake heads and laugh with us. We are happy. Together we are.

At Night a day before work start..

"Lili, I have a favour to ask for tomorrow..." Jennie looked at me with so much hope and I raise my eye brows to her.

"What is it Nini?" She kept quiet at first then proceeds with her favour.

"Can we not tell anybody there that we are together.. Not that I am not proud of you just we are still new and I don't want people to attack us. Can we just not put any title to us when we are working until I am comfortable with it? Please Lisa?" My heart hurt hearing that but I know where she is coming from so I just nod sadly. I did not say a word and just pull our blanket to sleep.

"Lisa.. are you mad at me..?" She was asking but I just shake my head and pretend to yawn.

"Work tomorrow, let's sleep and be ready. Good night Jennie.." I heard she sigh but I just ignore it. If she wants that to happen, might as well we practice tonight too. I don't blame her but I am just sad about the situation so I refused to discuss further on this.

First Day At work

As what we discuss yesterday, both of us just pretend to be friends and not so clingy to each other. Jisoo gives me the "Why are you like this" look but I just shrug and whisper to her.

"Jennie wants "Us" to be a secret because she is not really comfortable with new people.. Sigh..." Jisoo just look at me with sad eyes and pat my shoulder. I envy her because she and Chaeng are very clear with each other about their relationships.

Both I and Jisoo separated with Chaeng and Jennie because we work in different department. We got introduced to our team and they are so friendly. I already love working here. Our team consist of Namjoon, Mina, Seulgi, Nayeon. They are all very helpful and introduce us around. We are situated in level 10 but I got to know from Jisoo, Chaeng said they are at Level 12. Jennie never even bothered to text me but I guess she just try to be focus.

At Night after first day work.

"Lili, how is your work today? Mine is great, I got to know lots of new people. Many people likes Chaeng too but the boys are super bump when they get to know Chaeng is with Jisoo" She laughs and I just smile still feeling hurt she did not even care to text me while at work. At least once.

"Good for you and good for them, Chaeng is setting correct expectation that she is taken" I can hear she sigh hearing my monotonous words. I just don't want to fight but I felt envy. Maybe I should just nod at her instead of talking. I can be direct sometimes.

"Are you still mad at me Lili? About us keeping a secret? We will tell them one day okay" She is trying to soothe me but it is not working. I think she just want to be seen as available and to go further. Well if she wants that, I am okay.

"No Nini, I understand you want to be independent. Whatever you decide, I am okay with it. It is just so sad that you never even care to drop me a message. Do you really want us to be strangers? I will do that with you if you want that" She fidgeted her fingers when she heard what I said and I felt guilty for saying it. I should have not care about that small thing.

"Sorry Nini, should have not said that. Don't worry about it, I am ok" I peck her forehead and asked her to sleep. She snuck her head near my neck and kisses my neck couple of time. I just smile at her and ask her to sleep. She pouts and I spoon her. I really don't feel so good about this but this is not the end. Jennie still loves me.
