"Oh.. hi Annie!" This takes me completely by surprise. I seriously did not expect her to be in my room!
"Hi!" She crawls over the bed, takes a jump, and flies into my arms, laughing. I carry her back to where she was laying on the bed, and lay next to her.
We lay there, watching Capitol TV. We lay side by side, with her head leaning on my shoulder. Her brown hair is especially soft tonight.

I'm not sure when I dozed off, but I wake up, and when I roll over to check the clock, it's 5:17 AM. I look over, and there's no Annie.
The bathroom door's open, so she's not in there. But I notice my bedroom door is now open, so she must'be gone to the living room, or the kitchen.
I get out of bed, and the tile Capitol floor is cold on my feet. I walk out into the main area of our 4th floor living quarters, and there's Annie, sitting on the couch.
"Hey you," I say, walking over, and taking a seat next to her on the couch.
Her eyes stay focused on the big window in front of us, but she replies, "Hey."
We sit there in silence for a bit, but then I really do have to ask her something. I take her hand in mine.
"So, what exactly are you doing out here?" I ask, and she stays silent for a while.
"Last night, I realized I've never seen the sunrise. So I want to see at least one sunrise before I die." Oh. So that's why she's staring at the window.
"Look Annie, we can watch the sunrise. But you're not going to die. I am going to do everything in my power to save you." This makes her smile.
We sit there, hand in hand, and slowly, watch the sun come up.
