this is based on parts of season 2 episode 8
prissy invited me to her house for something important, is what she said. i arrived at her house just about ready to knock on the door, when the door flings open and i get pulled in. "you have to be quiet." prissy says hushing me and pulling me towards an entrance where i can see mr. phillips talking to mr. andrews.
"my life will only be complete if you consent to our marriage. i vow to be a good distinguished and and and worthy husband." i have never seen a man so desperate te for anything.
"oh, good lord, man, stand up at once." mr. andrews demands of the man kneeling down in front of him.
"sh-she will want for nothing."
"prissy?" her dad calls out as we all emerge from behind the wall entering the room. with a nod of his head they shake hands as mr. phillips lets out a relieved sigh. "thank you, father." prissy goes in for a hug embracing her dad full of happiness.
i guess it's too late now

i watch as prissy is being surrounded by girls when i enter the classroom. "diana, you're such a dear. thank you. now i have everything i'll need for the perfect wedding."
all except the husband
"prissy, do you have a bridal veil?" anne asks taking me away from my thoughts. "i'm going to be wearing my mothers. it's a tradition in our family." she responds answering the redheads question. "you should keep this sixpence and hand it down to your daughters." anne says taking a hold of the sixpence.
josie soon appears from behind me startling me, "what are we buying?" she asks. "we should put a bell on you." i say hand in my chest calming my beating heart. everyone laughs even josie, surprisingly. "diana got a genuine sixpence for prissy, all the way from london." ruby says going back to the topic beforehand.
"i wrote to my cousin two months ago, as soon as i heard about the engagement. i'm just glad it got here in time." diana said.
"something old, something new." tillie starts. i decide to continue the rhyme, "something borrowed, something blue." i say simultaneously with jane.
"and a silver sixpence in her shoe." laughter is heard around. "sounds painful." josie says back to her serious demeanor, staring right at anne. why can't they just be friends, they hang out all the time?
"sounds like a magic spell for happiness." anne retaliates to the blonde.

i see prissy enter the supply room where mr. phillips was seen entering. i can see them talking seeing as the door is open wide, but i can't hear them, not a single word.
"i just talked to him he wants me to be fully devoted at being his wife." prissy says in an almost sad tone, although she tries concealing it with a smile. "what does that mean?" i ask the troubled girl.
"he- i don't want to go to college."
"you said he. he doesn't want you to go to college. come on prissy think about it" i say pleading her to just follow her own dreams. "it's a wife's duty." she simply says wanting to leave it alone.
"he's feeding you lies. it's your choice." the girls are surrounding us once again as they hear our voices louder and louder. we explain everything to them. "why does he get to decide?" anne asks collecting all the information she just received. that's what i said.
