I had finished my end of year exams, I hung in the court yard of Hogwarts till dinner. I was one of the firsts to be in the great hall to eat and visit Fluffy before everything got insane. When I arrived at Fluffy's room there was a harp playing a soft melody.

"Aw, Hagrid must have needed to calm Fluffy down." I smiled before sliding down the wall and reading my potions book. The Harp would stop playing every now and again, I would use a charm to keep it going. The harp had been in the room since day one, I never thought anything of it until the door opened. But no one walked in.

Fluffy let out a deep breath reveling  the golden trio.
"What in god's name are you doing here?" I stood from the floor.

"We could ask you the same thing, helping your father get the Philosopher's stone for you-know-who!" Ron spoke up.

"Bravery blinded by rage. No, I'm not. Fluffy here gets lonely and Hagrid asked me earlier this year to use my talents to comfort him." I crossed my arms.

"What talents?" Hermione asked.

"I can speak to animals, amongst other things. I'm sorry kids but no one's been in here all night." I rolled my eyes.

"Snape is down there, I know he is. Let us through Vala." Harry spoke. I shook my head. Harry and Ron looked at Hermione and took a step back. I pulled out my wand ready for what ever she threw at me.

"Petrificus totalus!" She screamed I dodged the spell.

"THE HELL is wrong with you three!"

"Look, we don't have time to argue. Please." I rolled my eyes, fine. But I'm coming with you."

"Like hell you are!" Ron spat. I chuckled, I checked the watch on my wrist noticing that the charm on the harp would expire shortly.

"Fine, good lucky getting past Fluffy." I stood beside Fluffy's large paw that was over the trap door. They worked together to push his paw, once they got the door opened Harry started making plans.

"Does it seem a bit...quiet?" Harry asked.

"The Harp. It stopped playing." Hermione sighed. I watched as Fluffy raised from the floor and loomed over the three Gryffindors. He drooled all over Ron's shoulder.

"Ew! Yuck!" They all looked up to see a barking and very mad Fluffy. Who was able to shut the trap door in front of them. Ron looked at me "FINE! HELP US!"

"Fluffy DOWN!" I called. The dog stopped barking.

"Vala? Someone else is down there..." His soft voice spoke.

"Thank you, now..." I charmed the harp again "Go back to sleep." Fluffy nodded backing away from the door letting us in. I opened the door and jumped to make sure they didn't pull any fast ones on me.

We landed in pile of large tangled vines. Everyone started freaking out once they landed causing the vines to tighten around them. I took a deep breath and calmly sank

"VALA!" I heard them screaming as I landed beneath them. Hermione was the next to fall through.

"Its Devil's Snare..." She looked at me. "You have to relax. If you don't it will only kill you faster!" She screamed.

"Kill us faster?! Oh, now I can relax!" Ron screams. The boys start to panic.

"RELAX!" I screamed.

"They aren't going to relax are they?" Hermione asked. I shook my head. "What was it that Professor Sprout said about Devil's Snare?" Hermione started mumbling the riddle to herself but couldn't figure out the last part. A horrible moment for a brain fart if you ask me. I stepped forward raising my wand.
