Twelve

Nicole POV

I woke up the next morning in between Alex and Ash. I got out of the bed, which was a struggle since I have Ash's arm around my waist and Alex's around my upper body and I didn't want to wake them.

When I stood up I saw that Rose, Sam, and Emily asleep in her bed. I quickly grab Rose phone and took a picture.

I quietly and quickly got dress to head down to breakfast since I was strangely really hungry.

I looked around the room one last time before deciding to leave a note on the desk before walking out of the room.

When I walked into the room with food I saw that Jill was the only one here.

She looked up and gave me a small smile before motioning me over. I slowly made my way over since I felt guilty for not listening last night.

I sat down across from her

"Jill, I'm sorry for my actions last night. It won't happen again"

"Nothing to be sorry for, I understand why you ran. I also have a feeling you may do it again at some point again while your on this team" she said as I looked at her dumbfounded by her response which just caused her to laugh

"You run, but just like last night. You'll come back once you've gathered your thought" she said which I gave a small smile back

"Now go get breakfast" she said as I got up and grabbed fruit and toast before going back and sitting with Jill.

We started talking about the upcoming game and other national teams. My state championship game that's coming up.

That when we heard the door slam open causing to turn and look that way. In the door way Rose and Sam where standing their out of breath and a little freaked out with no shoes and Rose was just in sweat pants and a sports bra.

They calmed down when they saw us.

"Everything okay?" Jill asked looking at them since I'm pretty sure she was just as confused as I am.

"Now we are, we woke up and you were gone" Rose said looking at me

"Ash and Alex are freaking out, we thought you ran so we starting looking you" Lindsey said still trying to catch her breath

"I left a note on the desk" I said awkwardly rubbing the back of my neck

"They just found it" Rose said looking down at her phone

"Why don't you guys eat since you guys are down here eat and I'll go talk to them" I said standing up and taking of my sweatshirt and handing it to her

"I hope you know you aren't getting that back until the end of camp now" Lindsey said laughing

"That's fine" I said with a smile as said handing to the door before I quickly turn around and hugging the both of them. They both seemed caught off guard by hugged me back. Their actions show that they really do care.

"See you guys later" I said pulling away with a smile before heading up to my room where I'm assuming the other 3 still are.

When I made it to the room I walked in and saw Emily, Alex, Ash, and Ali

"Good morning" I said walking towards them but before I could reach them I was in a group hug of Alex, Ash, and I.

When they pulled I can tell they looked relieved to see me

I walked over and gave Emily and Ali a hug before I sat down on the bed.

"Soooo you guys thought I ran again?" Said looking at them who all gave me guilty smiles back
