Kyle's POV
Finally. Stan and I finished setting up our dorm after only a couple hours. After sitting around and talking for a little while there was a light knock on our door. The two of us exchanged a small look before shrugging. We had no idea who to expect, but there was no point in asking.
"Come on in!" I called from the beanbag in the corner of the room. When the door opened a tall blonde stepped inside. It was strange seeing him here since he didn't enroll, but it made sense. Of course Kenny would come today and make sure Butters was doing okay. Those two have been extremely close ever since middle school. Maybe they got along so well because Butters took time to understand Kenny. Maybe we should've done the same. If we did he would probably have hung out with us more in high school.
"Hey guys. Sorry if this is sudden.." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"No worries dude," Stan shrugged with a smile.
Kenny relaxed and made his way over to my bed, carefully taking a seat. He put his hands in his hoodie pockets and looked around. "Wow, you guys did all of this?"
Stan chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. It went a lot faster since we helped each other. Did you see Butters yet?"
"Oh yeah," Kenny started with a small shrug, "him and Cartman are still unpacking, so I came here."
Makes sense now. We were his second choice. Ever since middle school, we have always been his second choice. The only time he ever talks to us now is if his stupid little boyfriend can't hang out. At least we still see each other. No matter how upset I am that we hardly hang out anymore, it's hard to ignore that he seems bothered.
"You alright?" I crossed one of my legs over the other.
Kenny simply nodded. "Of course, why would you think otherwise?"
"I don't know, you just seem disturbed.."
He rolled his eyes as I spoke. "Nope, I'm fine."
Stan looked between the two of us before standing up. "Alright, who wants to go eat? I'm starving!"
With a nod I stood up, Kenny doing the same. The three of us started walking down the hall of the building when we saw something. There was a short, blonde haired figure running down the hall. After a second it clicked, and I heard the voice of one Leopold Stotch.
He jumped onto the taller blonde, wrapping his arms around him. "I thought you were busy unpacking Leo!" Kenny beamed as he held the smaller boy close.
Stan and I stood there awkwardly, watching the two just hug and talk. I grabbed Stan's sleeve and started walking down the hall again. The other two didn't notice until we were at the end of the corridor.
"Where are you guys going?" The taller boy asked as he started walking.
"I figured you two would take a while. Stan and I are getting coffee at Tweek Bros. if you actually want to be around us," I spoke without turning to look at them. Once the two of us exited the building I released him. A quiet sigh escaped my lips as my gaze fell to the ground. Was that too harsh? Is he mad at me now? Maybe I shouldn't have brought Stan onto my side of this problem. He hadn't said anything to me about what happened in the hallway yet, so maybe he isn't upset.
"So we're getting coffee and not going to Buca De Faggoncini?"
