Kyle's POV

Stan and I made it to our room after a couple minutes. Once the door was closed I sat down on my beanbag. My back was throbbing from when I hit the corner of the desk earlier, so that was my excuse for crying. Truth is, I was crying because I made him upset. I didn't mean to mess anything up. If I meant to mess things up I would've done something way worse than not pushing away somebody who kissed me.

As these thoughts ran through my head I placed my hand on my back. Stan noticed and walked over, crouching in front of me.

"Is your back okay?" He asked the question in a soft tone.

I simply shook my head, tears still falling from my eyes. He helped me take off my shirt, carefully lifting it from my body while I held my arms up. Once my shirt was off I slightly shifted so he could see my back. According to him there was a pretty bad bruise forming.

"Eric did that, didn't he?"

This time his voice was stern. I could see the anger in his eyes and knew I had to calm him down. "He didn't mean to Stan.. Can we please just leave him alone?"

There was a light knock on the door, so Stan got up. I began to wipe my eyes, but they were still red from crying. My eyes trailed over to the door as the dark haired boy opened it. Kenny, Butters, and even Eric stood there.

"No, fuck you. All of you need to leave." He spoke before any of them had the chance to.

Cartman and I locked eyes for a moment, but I quickly glanced away. Kenny pushed past Stan and quickly came towards me. He crouched in front of me after noticing my back.

"Dude are you okay?"

When I was actually about to answer him Butters walked over. Of course he's here. "Please leave.."

"But Kyle-" Butters started to say something.

"I said leave! I don't want to see you or Eric around here, do you understand me!" I raised my voice at the smaller boy, obviously hurting his feelings.

He turned to walk away, looking down. Eric did the same, starting to head back to his floor. Kenny just looked at me. "You're better than this.."

"I know Kenny! Just go follow your little fuck buddy!"

Once they were gone Stan slammed the door and walked back over. He brought me into a gentle hug, trying to calm me down.

"All of this is my fault.." I muttered softly. That night we fell asleep the same way as the night before, and woke up in a similar way as well.

Third person

Leopold still seemed disturbed by getting yelled at last night. The only thing that bothered Kenny was what Kyle called his boyfriend. Was that jealousy in his tone? Thinking about it put a small smile on his face, but it quickly faded into confusion. Why was he so happy that Kyle was jealous? It was strange, but Kenny couldn't get the red-head out of his mind. Maybe he should pay him a visit and apologize for anything he could've done.

When his shift was over at the restaurant and he knew Kyle was done with his classes, Kenny made his way to the college. He went to the room like the other times and knocked lightly.

"Come in." A dull voice called from inside.

The blonde stepped inside and closed the door. "Before you kick me out, it's just me here.. I really wanted to talk to you."

Kyle looked him up and down and nodded after a moment. "Fine. What is it?"

The taller boy walked over to his bed. He took a seat next to Kyle and turned towards him. There were dried lines from where tears had previously been, and his eyes were still red. It was obvious he had brushed through his hair and straightened it as much as it would go. In the blondes opinion, it looked pretty good..

"About yesterday.. what was that comment about Leo?"

"God, don't call him that around me. It's also not important, so don't worry about it," he rolled his eyes.

"Come on Kyle, I deserve to know."

"You know what? Fine. I don't like how much the two of you are around one another. All you do now is hang out with Butters and ask us to do something if he is unavailable. The rest of us have become your second choice, when we used to be your priority." It was obviously difficult for Kyle to say that. His voice cracked and his eyes slightly watered.

Kenny stayed silent for a moment before rubbing the back of his neck. "Jeez dude. Why didn't you just say that you missed me?" He was joking and trying to lighten the mood.

"I didn't say that because I would've said more than just that," Kyle stated simply.

"Oh yeah? Like what?"

"Like the fact that I love you so much more than I should. Even when Eric and I were together I still would've left him at the drop of a hat if you even looked in my direction. But no. It's always 'Leo this' and 'Leo that'."

Hearing Kyle say that warmed up Kenny's body. He felt all fuzzy inside. Basically just.. complete. No matter how much he wanted to say something like that back, he couldn't. Kenny would never want to hurt Butters, especially since he was so fragile. The slightly shorter boy looked at Kenny and sighed.

"Can you leave now? This was a lot more painful than it should've been. Besides, I'm sure Butters probably wants to see you. He's in building three, study hall on the first left."

Kenny decided to just leave Kyle alone. Both of them had some thinking to do. Especially Kenny. Would Kyle really do anything to be with the blonde? It all seemed too surreal. Almost like a scene out the end of a movie.
