I ran down the street trying my best to avoid oncoming traffic. My light blue hair flew into my eyes blinding me. I tumbled across the street and heard the sharp break of a car's tires.
"Get out of the street!" Someone yelled. My legs were bleeding from the knife cuts so it took all of my strength to drag myself out of the busy street.
I somehow managed to make it to the broken down bar hidden between two large buildings. This is it. This is where my brother is.
I forced myself to ring the doorbell. My whole body hurt and the deep slices through my legs and arms made the cool summer day feel like a heat wave. The door finally opened just a crack.
"Who is it?" Tomura Shigaraki asked. I bursted into tears and yelled, "It's me,Yamato!"
His eyes went wide in surprise. My legs gave out as the door flew open.
"Yamato. Is that really you?" He whispered.
The liquid on the ground felt warm and made me want to curl up into a ball.
"Yes," I managed to say.
I watched as his blue eyes started to tear up. Just like mom's.
"I'm so sorry Yamato,"he said.
A sharp pain rippled through my body unlike any other. Within seconds, all of nature's darkness engulfed me.

"You'll never be a hero!"
"You'll never be a villain!"
"You'll never be a girl!"
"You'll never be a guy!"
"You'll never fit in!"................................................................
I woke up in a cold sweat half expecting to be in my sleeping bag in my house. I was baffled when I heard soft classical music surrounded me. The place felt warm and cozy. Something I haven't felt in a long, long time. Steam rised from somewhere and the faint smell of ramen almost made me drool. When I opened my eyes, I was shocked to see the amount of bandages my body was covered in. My arms and legs still hurt, and I could see blood creeping through them. As I tried to sit up, sharp spikes of pain jetted through my veins bolting me back down.
"Millie? Are you awake?"Shigaraki asked. I bursted into tears yet again when he said my name. No one has ever called me my preferred name before and him saying it was like a blessing.
"How did you know?" I asked, wiping tears from my eyes.
"I found a trans flag in your backpack and a couple of photos," he said. "You look so pretty and grown up than the last time I saw you," he said with that same smile on his face. Besides his smile and his light blue hair, everything about him changed. He looked a lot slimmer than before and the bags on his eyes proved that he hasn't gone to bed in at least a week. But the thing I was most worried about were the scars. They where all over his face. I wanted to point all these things out but figured to just keep my mouth shut. The last time I saw him; he was like in 7th grade. Of course he looks a lot different.
Shigaraki pasted me a bowl of warm ramen and said, "If there's anything you need to tell me just know I'll be listening."
I stared down at my soup pondering the idea. We both sat in silence for a while staring at the muted tv screen. When I finally got the courage, an eruption of words spilled out of my mouth sending my brother and I ducking as boulders from my past zoomed towards us.Authors note: Thank you all for reading!
