Bleu Jones
Sarah promised to get my mind off of Harry and she successfully did. During the day at least.
Rachal and her became quick friends so sometimes they even hung without me which I found very cute. Sarah often invited us to eat, shop, or to go clubbing and Mitch and the other band tagged along sometimes. I was worried it would be awkward since I used to be 'Harry's girl' but they befriended me like it was nothing.
The only time I found myself upset was when I went home. When I was alone. That's when I could pull out my phone and scroll though the media and see the photos of Camille and Harry. It was crazy how much attention they got. Every night when I went onto Twitter, I could find new pictures of them or photos they did. It amazed me since I knew how much Harry loved his privacy — but I guess she changed that.
Eventually when Sarah and the rest of the band had to leave, I had stopped looking at the media. I didn't care anymore — I was happy. I could care less about Harry right now, and I'm grateful for that feeling.
"I'm going to miss you." I mumbled into Sarah's hair as I pulled her into a tight hug inside the airport.
She pulled away with teary eyes, "Stop it. We will see each other again. Rachal and I already agreed to hang out for New Years, then your birthday is right after that."
Mitch was next while Rachal said goodbye to Sarah, "I'll miss you Mitchypoo. Someday you'll talk more." I teased.
"I'll miss you too Bluey. I'll do the talking to Harry. Talk some sense into him." He smiled, while I just shook my head and chuckled.
I went to Adam next, who I didn't really know as well, "Nice meeting you, Adam."
"You as well." He nodded as a goodbye.
"I'll miss you Char." I exclaimed as I threw my arms around her, she let out a laugh.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll miss ya more, B." She smiled.
Ny and I hadn't been close since she didn't come out with us much since she had her own friends here so we shared a simple smile and wave before I walked away from them all.
"Wait! Instagram!" Sarah exclaimed and we all rolled our eyes knowing that this is what she always does.
She walked a little ways away from us and I stood in front of Mitch while he put bunny ears on me with his fingers. Rachal stood next to Charlotte and we all made funny faces. When Sarah walked over to us, she turned her phone and there was now a cute photo of us on her instagram captioned 'Funny faces even though our departure is anything but funny'.
"Very cute." I complimented with a smile, "Now go, you're gonna miss your plane. Text me!" I waved and Rachal did the same.
"Jeez, this is gonna feel weird now. We went out with them literally during all of our free time." Rachal realized as they walked away.
I groaned playfully, "Now we have to hangout with people in our university. Tragic."
"Speaking of people in our university..." She smiled evilly as she got into my car.
"Alright, just say it." I laughed knowing she was preparing for her version of big news.
"You know Shawn Moore in our writing class?" She asked nonchalantly, and I nodded in reply so she continued, "He likes you."
I looked over at her quickly before turning back to the road, "What? How would you know that?"
"Well, Sarah and I saw him at the cafe the other day..."
"Sarah and you? That's never good." I teased.
"Okay, interrupt me to make fun of me I see how it is." We both laughed, "Anyways, we talked to him and he said he thought you have always been really cute. I told him I'd talk to you, then get back to him."
I nodded slowly, "Huh, so he can't talk to me himself?"
"That's just one downside. You two can quickly get over that." She shrugged.
"I'm not going on a date with someone who can't even talk to me." I shook my head as I pulled into the Dunkin drive thru.
"How do you not spend all your money here?" Sarah wondered out loud.
"Not sure to be honest." I laughed before ordering my drink and getting Sarah one. I turned back to her afterwards, "I was actually late to the cafe the other day because I wanted Dunkin instead of their coffee before work."
She shook her head and laughed, "How is Shawn going to deal with you?"
I groaned and went to speak until the cashier interrupted me, "Your drink."
I looked over and smiled, "Thank you, kind sir." He chuckled and shook his head when I called him the same name as I did everyday before I drove away.
I finally spoke after a very long sip of my iced coffee, "Shawn is not going to have to deal with me."
"Yeah, he is. You have a date tonight, Bleu Jones." She smiled.
I whipped my head to look at her, almost spilling my coffee in the process, "What?"
"Yup. I may have partially lied to you. You see when Sarah and I met him a couple days ago, we told him you would go on a date with him tonight. He'll be here at 8." She giggled before pulling out her phone to update Sarah.
"I hate you both."
