"Merry Christmas mum." I smiled as I handed her the breakfast I had made for her and Gemma.
She gave me a tight hug, "Merry Christmas, I'm glad I get to spend it with you. Hard to be away from you for so long." She murmured.
"It's hard for me as well mum." I smiled before pulling away and handing Gemma her breakfast, "Merry Christmas to you as well."
She smiled and squeezed my cheeks, "Aww, Merry Christmas little brother."
The rest of the day was spent together and it kept my mind off the idea of Bleu coming here. I was definitely nervous for her to be here and to see her again after everything that happened between us but I knew it would be alright.
Everything would be alright with her here.
Bleu Jones
Christmas went by in a flash and before I knew it I was landing in LA. Christmas with my family was definitely not for the faint of heart this year and my mom didn't speak to me for the rest of the trip after our fight. I gifted her a nice bracelet which she later put in the trash for me to find while she gave me a frame to put my law degree in. I was only sad to leave my brothers and dad so soon but it felt like a relief to leave my mothers drama.
As soon as I stepped out of my gate, Sarah, Mitch, and Rachal came into view. Sarah and Rachal practically ran towards me and we all engulfed each other in a group hug while Mitch laughed.
"I missed you two so much!" I exclaimed into the hug.
Sarah pulled away, "You don't understand how much I missed you two as well."
"Ditto!" Rachal agreed.
I walked over to Mitch and pulled him into a hug, "Missed you as well Mitchypoo."
"Missed you too Bluey." He smiled.
Sarah led us to their car and Mitch loaded our suitcases into their trunk. Once they sat down, they immediately wanted to know everything.
"Bleu, tell us about your trip." Sarah pleaded.
"Well, you heard about my action-packed first night already. My brothers and dad celebrated my birthday with me that night which was cute. My mother and I didn't speak for the rest of the trip and she threw away my Christmas present for her. Then, I said goodbye to the rest of my family and left." I explained shortly.
Sarah cringed, "She threw it out?" I nodded in reply.
"Did she at least get you a good present?" Rachal asked.
I laughed, "She got me a frame to put my law degree in."
Mitch laughed, "Thats cold."
Rachal spoke, "Well, I definitely had a happier trip than you. My family and I went hiking like a million times. And none of us threw out each other's presents." She teased.
"Aren't you lucky?" I joked as we pulled into a long driveway in front of a huge house. "Jesus. Didn't realize you guys were this rich."
Sarah laughed nervously, "Well you see." She cleared her throat, "This isn't our house. But we're all staying here — don't worry."
I looked between Rachal and Sarah with a puzzled look, "What? Whose house is it?"
"Don't freak out." Rachal started, "It's Harry's house."
I widened my eyes, "No."
Sarah chuckled lightly, "Yes."
Mitch exited the car to get our belongings out while I stayed completely still in my seat. Rachal began to tug on my arm, "Come on. It's fine, he invited us."
I shook my head vigorously, "No. I'll just stay at a hotel, it's alright."
Rachal shook her head, and somehow managed to lift me up and out of the car.
"What the fuck, Rach. Do you have a gym membership?" I complained as she carried me to the front door.
She laughed loudly, "What can I say? I'm strong as fuck." She kicked the door with her foot to knock on it.
Not even a minute later, Harry opened it with a smile. "Hello! Glad you made it okay." He looked at me in Rachals arms, "Are you alright, love?"
I glared at Rachal as Sarah and Mitch appeared behind us, holding our bags. "Put me down right now, Rachal Elizabeth Green."
She obliged to my request with a laugh. I swiftly turned and went straight back into Mitch and Sarah's car. I could see Mitch and Sarah enter the home with our belongings, and Rachal followed closely behind. Harry stood for a second watching the car before making his way towards it.
"Fuck. No. No. No." I muttered as he came closer.
He opened the back door and slid in next to me, "Hello angel." I hmphed in reply so he sighed and spoke again, "I'm sorry. I should've told you that you'd be staying here but I knew you wouldn't agree."
I scoffed, "You're exactly right, I won't agree. I was just your rebound and then you went straight back to Camille. I'm not about to be that girl again, Harry."
He ran his hand through his hair. "I'm sorry I made you feel like you were that girl but you weren't. It never hit me that I was in love with an image of Camille I created not the real Camille. And I don't love her anymore."
"Is that supposed to make it okay?"
"No. No, it's not." He sighed, "Just please stay here. I don't want you wasting money in a hotel when you can be here. My mom and sister are here so I will occupy myself with them and stay away from you."
I was silent for a moment and avoided his pleading eyes. "Fine. But, only if I can cook."
He smiled, "Absolutely. I love your cooking angel."
"Stop calling me that." I huffed before exiting the car and making my way into Harry's house.
Mitch smiled as I entered the kitchen, "There she is! Knew you'd come around."
I rolled my eyes, "I was blackmailed into this."
Sarah laughed, "Anyways, are you alright with us celebrating your birthday tomorrow since you're leaving on the 1st so there won't be much time that day?"
I waved dismissively, "There's no need to celebrate at all."
Harry walked in, "Of course we're celebrating. Now Rachal and Bleu, I would like you to meet my mom, Anne, and my sister, Gemma."
Since I was closer to the doorway they walked through, I pulled them each into hugs first. "Nice to meet you both, I'm Bleu."
Gemma smirked, "Ah the infamous Bleu. Nice to finally see the girl my brother raves about."
Raves about?
