So sorry about not posting a second chapter yesterday! I wasn't feeling the most motivated. But! I'm feeling better already and I'm ready to write!

Slight warning, Tord is a little verbally abusive in this.

The mall was huge, lined almost wall-to-wall with all sorts of stores and restaurants, kiosks scattered throughout the floor. There was movement going on everywhere I looked. Families with tired parents tugging along their kids, excited kids dragging their parents to a store. Couples walking with hands interlocked. Groups of friends chatting and laughing as they went. Singular people avoiding interaction.

We stood at the fountain in the center of the lobby. Edd checked the nearby map displayed.

"Ok, so I say we split up and meet back at the food court at 12. Sound good?"

Nods from us each. Matt latched onto my arm, making sure to be cautious of my side.

"Oh! Oh! Can I take (F/N) clothes shopping? Pretty please?"

"It's up to (F/N), Matt."

I chuckled softly at how excited he was and agreed to go with him. He practically dragged me off, seeming to know exactly where to go. I heard Edd shout after us.

"12 o'clock, Matt! And be careful!"

Somehow I managed to catch up to where he wasn't dragging me, but I had to take quick steps to match his long legs. It was going to be quite a while until 12.

I absentmindedly gazed out the window of the Forever 21 store we were in, taking in all the sights and sounds. It wasn't my first time in a mall, but London made everything so different.

Matt was looking through the racks in the summer section. He had pulled me in here, saying I needed a swimsuit. I told him it wasn't necessary, but he insisted that if I was going to be living with them, I needed to be prepared for anything. Whatever that meant.

A flash of light blue passing by caused me to drop the bags I was holding and peek out the door. Sure enough, a man with blue hair and a woman with brown hair were walking down the mall. I raced forward. The only thing my mind could focus on was them.

Don't lose them. Walk quicker. This could be your only chance!

I emerged from the crowd into a slightly emptier area. They were nowhere to be seen. I rushed up to the closest kiosk and tapped the woman's shoulder.

"E-Excuse me?"

"Oh, hello there! Can I interest you in some nail polish? We just got this very nice new color and-"

"I'm sorry, but no. I wanted to ask if you saw some people pass by."

"What did they look like?"

"Well, it was a man and a woman. The man would've been very tall, his hair is curly and light blue. And he has purple eyes!"

The woman opened her mouth, but was interrupted by a very familiar accent.

"(F/N)! There you are!"

An arm wrapped around my shoulders, the red hoodie pressed against my back. Tord. I froze.

"We've been worried sick! You know you're not supposed to go off on your own."

He grinned at the kiosk woman, who giggled and twisted a piece of her hair.

"I'm so sorry if my sister caused you any trouble. Me and my friends decided to bring her along since our parents are out of town. She ran off before we could give her the meds. Without them she gets a little...out of it."
