I blinked away tears as I stared at the concrete ground. The screams of the people filled the room, creating a symphony of destruction and pain.
The air was cold, but the chill that ran down my spine was colder. Blood rushed loudly in my ears, though it still wasn't enough to drown out the screams. The horrible screams.
My eyes landed on the puddle of dark blood coating the floor. The body that was laying in it made me feel sick. I felt puke rise up my throat, but I quickly swallowed it down.
A hand gripped my jaw with a bone crushing strength and forced my head forward. Forced me to watch the scene that was unfolding. Hot breath hit my skin, making the desire to retch even stronger.
"Do you see, my little lamb? All this is your fault. You have led the entire flock to the slaughter. You did this to them. They're all dead because of you."
It was my fault.
