After they entered the house,Mr. and Mrs. Chakravarty went to freshen up and Harry and Eva sat in the living room and played Gobstones for a while. Eva whipped his ass at the game.
Harry whined,"Why are you so good at this game?" Eva snarked jokingly," I'm good at every Wizarding game and sport. I don't think you'd be able to beat me in anything." Harry boasted," I'm great at Quidditch. I don't believe that you'd be able to beat me."
Then Mrs. Chakravarty came up and said,"Harry dear, I'm sure that you're great at Quidditch just like James. But Eva is a pro at it. She just didn't want to try out for the team even when we begged her too."
Harry asked her pointedly," Why didn't you try out?" Eva replied," I just don't like all the violence which takes place in our matches."
Harry shrugged his shoulders not really understanding how someone could not want to play on their house team. Then Mr. Chakravarty came into the room and sat down on the loveseat with Mrs. Chakravarty.
He turned towards Harry and asked," How long are you staying with us,Harry dear? Not that we don't want you here, but we were planning to spend to the vacations in France with Eva."
Harry hesitantly said," If there is anyway by which I could speak to my godfather, then we might be able to come up with an arrangement for my residence. Would it be possible for me to speak to my godfather?"
Mr. Chakravarty replied,"It can be done but we would have to be very discreet about it. Now let's just hope that I can make it work." Then Mr. Chakravarty walked away to some other room.
Eva then asked Harry," Would you like to go to bed now?"
"I think I'll stay up for a while. I'm not feeling particularly sleepy."
Eva shrugged," Then would you like to walk in the gardens with me?"
Harry then replied," You don't have to stay up with me. I'll be okay alone."
Eva chuckled," Have you never had any friends Harry? Friends look out for each other. And given how close I- my mum was with yours, you're basically family. Of course I'll stay up with you.
Now let us go to the gardens. I want to show you something."
Then Eva flounced away gracefully. Harry nearly teared up at the love and acceptance Eva had shown for him. Then a voice shouted," Are you coming, slowpoke?"
Harry chuckled happily and followed after her swiftly.
