---AU- During Total Drama Island (EPISODE 2)

Y/N POV

I stood with my team, the Gophers, and started trying to open the box of hot tub supplies with my mouth. "Ugh." I groaned, getting a splinter on my lip. I ripped it out, throwing it to the side and continuing to tug. I look to my side, seeing the other team walking up. I smile, and look back at my crate, starting to get to work on it again. "Aren't you missing a couple of white girls?" Leshawna asks the team, and I look over once again, noticing that something was wrong with Courtney. "They're getting a drink." The C.I.T says.

"Yeah, if they drink with their butts." Harold says. Ezekiel laughs. "That's funny." He says, while the brown haired girl walks away from the pair, and towards me and Leshawna. "Ooh, what happened to your eye, girl?" Leshawna asks. "Nothing. Just an allergy." She says. "It looks like it's getting worse, eh?" Ezekiel says to her. "Shut up." She says in a hushed tone. "We don't want them knowing that."

I ask my team to excuse me for a few minutes, and walk up to Courtney. "Hey, come with me." I say. She looks at me strangely, while I await her answer. "I have to finish this challenge. Why would I trust the enemy?" She asks, and I roll my eyes at her, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the communal bathroom with me. "Hey! What are you doing!" She protests.

I walk in with her, turning on the water and grabbing a cloth out of my bag. "So what did you need me for?" She asks, and I sigh. "Do you want your eye fixed or not?" I ask her. She gives in, and I smile. "Great." I say.

First, I instruct her to splash some water on her face. Then I show her how to rinse out her eyes correctly. I wet a cloth with some cool water and have her hold it over her swollen eye, then hand her eye-drops from my bag, and she puts them in her eye carefully. "The swelling should tone down a bit soon." I say, packing my stuff up. She smiles. "Thanks. But dont think this means I'll go easy on you." She says. I smirk. "No need to. But I bet you'll be asking me to go easy on you when we win these challenges." I say, walking out.

I go back to my team, helping them build our hot tub with the materials from the crates. I put the pieces together carefully, looking over at Courtney's team who isn't having the same amount of luck as we are. I stick my tongue out at her playfully, as she adds duct tape to the side of their hot-tub. I walk over to her side. "You sure that's gonna work babe?" I ask her, poking at her hot-tub, causing it to shake. "Don't call me that." She says, securing her hot tub with more tape. I sigh. "You're doing it all wrong." I say, trying to help her. She refuses my help, and I groan. "We don't need your help!" She says. "I'll have you know, I was a C.I.T and I don't need help on building a stupid little hot tub!"

"Whatever you say honey." I say, walking back to my team swiftly. We finish up on our tub, and I sit down, awaiting Chris' arrival. He shows up shortly after, examining both teams' creations. He looks at ours first. "This is a nice hot tub." He says, and I high-five Leshawna. "Yes!" I exclaim, smiling. Chris then walks over to the other team. The water spewing out of a hole in the side is quickly covered by a piece of tape. The structure shakes, falling apart quickly.

"And the Screaming Gophers win!" He says, and I grin. "Fuck yeah!" I exclaim, and my team cheers. "You guys get your creation for the rest of the game, and will not be facing elimination tonight." I smile, looking towards Courtney. "Told ya, babe!" I exclaim, walking off with my team.

It turns out that Ezekiel was voted out, but it didn't really matter to me, since my team had been doing well so far. I sat in the hot tub with Cody, who I had surprisingly become friends with quickly. As I glanced over, I saw Courtney walking angrily into her cabin. I got out and dried off, following her.

I convinced her to take a walk with me, and we strolled around the camp together. "Maybe tomorrow will be better for your team." I say. "Why are you so nice to me?" She asks. "You obviously want something in return. "No. Just your friendship." I say to her. "Why? We're competition, I can't be messing around with you." She says.

"I didn't suggest that. I just want to your friend, Courtney. You are smart and talented, and the type of person that I want to surround myself with. You are a good person, and I know you will stay loyal to your team, and your friends. And that's important." I say, looking at the sky. "Just something to think about." I say, walking off.

---TIME SKIP---

I slip the eye drops and allergy meds onto Courtney's bed, along with a note, and sprint out of the cabin. I hope you feel the same Courtney, I think to myself, smiling as I walk off.
