It was Sunday, and Aizawa was planning on sleeping all day, again, he'd ventured into his kitchen to fetch some caffeine, which was practically a life source for him, considering he rarely ever ate anything other than jelly pouches.
He was just about to make his was back to bed, equipped with his extra large coffee mug, when he heard a sudden knock on his door.
He paused.
There was something he was meant to do today. He just couldn't quite recall what it was, so, with a shrug, he wandered to his door, looking through the little peephole at the top.
He was greeted with a very close-up view of Present Mic.
"Eraser! You ready to GOoooOoo?!" He called out, Aizawa cringed away from the noise, opening up his door to allow his friend entry.
"What is it, Yamada? It's too early for he to be dealing with your noisy bullshit"
The blonde smiled,
"We're going to that training camp, remember? The bus leaves at two"
Aizawa's eyes widened slightly "shit" he began walking back to his room, about to begin his hurried packing. Yamada trailed behind him, closing the door and taking off his boots,
"Did you forget?"
Aizawa rolled his eyes, despite Mic not being able to see him.
"Obviously"
He pulled a black duffel bag from his closet, shoving in his hero suit and some random track pants and such.
There was an audible gasp as Yamada walked into the room,
"Eraser! Don't tell me that's actually how you intend to pack your bag!"
Aizawa looked up at him, shooting him a venomous glare, Mic shook his head comically, hand over his eyes.
"No, no I refuse to watch this travesty"
"Then leave."
"No, I also refuse to abandon a friend in obvious need of assistance."
"Tch"
Aizawa stepped away from his bag, gesturing for Yamada to go ahead and pack it for him if he was so invested in it.
He didn't seem to mind, shooting Aizawa a smile before proceeding to pull out the mess of clothes in the bag.
"I'll.. do something about this, you can go pack your bathroom stuff"
Aizawa wandered off, grabbing a small bag off of his nightstand, unlike his blonde guest, he didn't have a massive amount of beauty products, just the basic toothbrush and deodorant sort of stuff.
His toiletries bag took a little under five minutes to pack, it took extra time because Aizawa had forgotten where he'd put his full deodorant bottle.
After walking back into his room he saw Yamada going through his closet,
"Do you own anything even remotely colourful?" He sounded stressed,
"I have my scarf."
Yamada gave him a look of disdain,
"When we get back, you're coming clothes shopping with me, your wardrobe is appalling."
Aizawa shrugged.
****timeskip***
"Alright, I think that's everything" Yamada groaned, "god you really need some variation, I found three pairs of jeans."
"Your point?"
Yamada gave him an incredulous look,
"Three! In your entire cupboard! That's practically a sin!"
"..."
Suddenly loud pop music filled the apartment,
"Oh! That's my phone" Yamada jumped up off of the carpeted floor, running to the kitchen, Aizawa didn't bother following him. Some muffled talking came from the room, before Yamada emerged in the doorway again.
"They're waiting for us at the bus stop next door."
Aizawa lazily got off of his bed, grabbing all of his bags, before Yamada interrupted.
"Oh no, I'm carrying some of those, can't have you straining your back now, old man"
Yamada had already put his boots back on, so he took the bags from Aizawa, giving him a moment to put on his shoes.
"Thanks" he mumbled, standing up and taking two of the bags from Yamada.
He was answered with a smile, as Yamada opened the door, gesturing for him to go through first, Aizawa decided to humour him with a mock curtesy,
"Why thank you, brave Knight."
Yamada let out a chuckle,
"anytime, fair princess"
The pair wandered into the elevator, Yamada pulled out his phone, Aizawa assumed he was going to call back whoever it was from before. He was, in fact, partly correct, although Yamada ended up just texting them.
"Oh, Eraser, Nemuri says we're going to the Mall before we leave, for snacks and stuff."
"Great" he replied, his voice lacking any obvious enthusiasm.
The elevator only took a few moments to reach the ground floor, where Aizawa and Yamada were greeted by an obviously excited Nemuri.
"Hey boys!" She was practically bouncing with energy, most likely due to a sugar rush or a caffeine hype.
Both, most likely, Aizawa decided, considering the pink Starbucks drink in her hand.
"Hey Nemuri" Yamada replied, smiling.
Aizawa gave her a nod of acknowledgement, continuing on his way to the bus stop.
The other two trailed a few steps behind, deep in a conversation that Aizawa was paying no attention to.
"What do you think, Aizawa?"
He snapped back into reality, after zoning out for a few minutes. He gave them a confused glance, which Nemuri seemed to miss, as she was busy checking out some blonde lady across the street; Yamada paused for a moment,
"We were saying about the training camp, about the schedule? What did you think?"
Aizawa has to think for a second, then remembering that he hadn't actually looked at the email Nezu sent.
"I didn't read the email."
"Oh... okay.."
Nemuri chuckled,
"Good luck, Scruffy, you're going to have so much fun"
Aizawa became slightly concerned, despite his nonchalant facial expression. He knew Nemuri only talked with that tone if something was going to happen.
Before he could respond, he heard his colleagues call out from the bus,
"Finally! I thought we'd have to leave without you."
As they got closer, it became apparent that Ken (cementos) was waiting to load their bags in the lower cargo area.
Aizawa passed over his luggage bag, keeping ahold of his backpack-like carry on.
Yamada gave Ken the third bag and before they knew it, they were travelling in the direction of the Mall.
