Oh my goodness! My dad is here! He's really here! My mind is reeling, why's he here!? I haven't set eyes on him for like years....I don't know I think the last time I saw him was when I was 10 or 11 I can't say. Wow.....my dad's really here!

"What's up spell?" He says as he walks into the dim light of the garage. I can see his face spliting grin.

I lunge myself at him, hugging him tightly.

"Heyyy" he hugs me back then pulls away to look at me. "Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes huh?" He gives me a crooked grin. "C'mon spell, lemme hear that sweet voice of yours" my eyes are filled with tears now, just waiting to be let go.

"I've missed you so much dad" I wisper as I hug him once again.

"Oh you too spell, you too" he says as he hugs me like he's never huged me before. "So where's that brother of yours?" He says as I pull away.

Ugh Mason. I shrug, although I know he's probably in the car.

"Ooooo, I sense trouble on berk"

"Dad!" Oh how could he remember that! Mason and I used to love the movie; How to train your Dragon a lot. Well, we still do. We were practically addicted, so dad started making fun of it. Jeez how could he possibly remember.

"What?!" He's laughing at my expense. Jeez. "Hey, son" I turn and see that Mason is walking toward us. I can clearly see his shock, but within seconds, it turns into a crooked smile. I move aside.

"Dad?!" They hug in thier own 'manly way', and dad taps Masons back.

"Yes son, I'm here"

"But why? How? Whe-" he's interupted by dads index finger in the air. Its his signature move to silence practically anyone. And somehow, it always works.

"No questions or gifts until y'all resolve your problem"

"Dad?!" Mason and I exclaim in unison. "Ugh!" We surprisingly groan and fold our arms at the same time, then unfold it at the same time as well, all to dads fond amusment.

"See y'all are siblings. I mean you're literally doing the same things at the same time. Now give you're old man a welcome back present and resolve your issues okay" and with that, he wanders off into the house. He's lying, he doesn't look a day over 30.

Mason and I stand for what feel like hours. I'm not talking first. He's the one who started the trouble. Hmp.

"I'm sorry" he suprises me by saying. I don't speak. Apology not accepted. "I guess I was out of line. It's just, I don't exactly like the guy, and I know that shouldn't stop you from talking to him but-" he takes a deep breath "going frantic, looking for you everywhere and finally seeing you alone with him in a locked room....it just got me angry, but most of all I was scared" I whip my head to face him. Scared? "Yeah, I was really worried Mavis. I don't know him and neither do you. Maybe he didn't do anything this time, but who knows what his plan is?" I frown. "Look I'm not saying he's a bad person okay. I'm saying the world is a dangerous place and you really don't know what could be going on in peoples minds" he's right. I mean, I don't see Luca as a dangerous or bad person, but I don't know him and that's the bottom line.

I give him a small smile and his eyes soften.

"Mavis I don't want anything bad to ever happen to you, even if I can't stop it. It's more than important to me that you're safe....always safe" he takes my hand and squeezes it lightly. Oh my wonderful brother.

"I'm sorry too. I'm sorry for leaving like that. I should have sent a message or something. And you're right, I don't know him. You could run a background check on him?" I smirk and so does he.
