"What?" He took a step backwards, confusion written all over his face. "I want you to turn me..." I stood up, taking a step towards him. "Why would you want that Aurora? Have you thought this through properly?" He took my hands in his. I huffed at his response. "Of course I have, I've been thinking about it since the day you saved me from Klaus. I don't want to be weak anymore." I took my hands from his, walking over to the window with my arms crossed and tears threatening to spill from my eyes. "And are you absolutely sure this is what you want?" He walked towards me, placing his hands on my shoulders. "Yes." I whispered, turning to face him. He lifted my head up to look me in the eyes rolling up his sleeve, biting into his wrist before offering me his arm. I took his arm in my hand and started drinking his blood, looking up to him once I'd drank enough. He took his handkerchief out of his pocket and wiped away the remains from my lips and chin. "How do you want to do this?" He asked, I could tell he wasn't psyched about hurting me. I simply took his hands and placed them around my neck, nodding my head slightly to let him know I'm alright with this. With that, he snapped my neck with one brisk movement. Just as I shot up, gasping for air, Elijah sat upright and passed a blood bag over to me. "To complete the transition you must drink human blood, then when the sun comes up I will have a witch make a daylight ring for you." He put his hand on my shoulder, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. I nodded, taking a sip from the bag, at first I could hardly keep it down. It tasted like hot garbage, but the more I drank the more it started to taste of blood, soon enough the bag was empty. "How do you feel?" He asked as he brought me into a tight embrace. "I feel good, thank you for this, Elijah." I put my arms around him, nuzzling my face into his chest.

The next morning

I awoke the next morning to hear two sets of voices downstairs, one of them was Elijah and I soon realized that the other was Davina. I carefully trotted to the stairs, careful to avoid the sunlight. I stopped at the top of the stairwell. "Good morning Aurora, Davina here has made you a daylight ring." Elijah started walking up the stairwell to me with a ring in his hand. "May I?" He asked, holding up the ring to place on my hand. I nodded, holding up my left hand for him, he slipped it onto my index finger. "Perfect." He smiled at me. I held my hand out into the light, smiling before putting my arms around Elijah's neck pulling him into a hug. "Thank you, both of you." I smiled at Elijah and Davina before heading to my room to get ready for my shift at Rousseau's.
