It's been 2 weeks since I spoke to or even saw Klaus, in that time I've grown closer with Elijah and preparations have started for the annual Mikaelson ball. I haven't found a dress to wear yet, and I don't really want to wear the same one I wore last year. Rebekah is arriving in town tomorrow so we'll probably go shopping for our dresses then. It's Friday night, I'd just got back from a shift at the bar to find the compound looking like a war zone. Elijah and Nik were fighting with each other and the sight unfolding before me was brutal. The floor was scattered with broken furniture, just then Elijah threw a vase at Nik's head but he ducked just in time. It smashed against the wall behind me, narrowly avoiding me. Elijah stopped fighting and stared right at me, in which time Nik charged towards Elijah and bit his shoulder. "Klaus, stop!" I yelled, rushing over to Elijah. "Rory..." He stumbled backwards, regret and shock slapped across his face. He realised what he had done to Elijah and promptly gave him some of his blood to heal the bite, a werewolf/hybrid bite is fatal to a vampire and the only thing that can cure it is the hybrids blood. He stood there watching as I made sure Elijah was okay, jealously in his eyes and walked away, smashing a glass table on his way out. "What the hell were you thinking, fighting with him?!" I slapped Elijah's arm. He just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know." He walked away. I could tell he was holding something back but I didn't want to push my luck. Instead I just started cleaning up. 'Boys never tidy up after themselves.' I thought to myself as I rolled my eyes. "What in the hell happened here, darling?" Kol walked in, stopping dead in his tracks. "Nik and Elijah were fighting. Like bloody idiots." I sighed, dumping the last bits of broken vase in the bin. "Where are they now?" He plopped himself down on the sofa. "Nik is god knows where and Elijah is somewhere around here, he stormed off a little while ago." I sat myself next to him. "Right, I'll go find Nik, you alright to deal with Elijah?" He started walking away. I nodded and started making my way to Elijah's room, stopping at the door ready to knock when I saw it was cracked open. I looked inside and saw Elijah standing by his mirror in nothing but a towel. "Like what you see?" He dragged me out of my trance. "Uh I just wanted to check you were okay." I blushed. "Anyway, I can see you're fine so I'm gonna head to bed, night." I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I closed my door and leaned back against the wall, running my hands through my hair before going into my bathroom. I had just showered and was sat at my vanity blow drying my hair when Elijah walked in, he had a pair of pants on but he was still shirtless, he came over to me and took the blow dryer out of my hand switching it off. "Aurora I need to apologize to you." He said lowly. "What for?” I looked up at him, puzzled. "Fighting with Niklaus, almost hurting you in the process." He frowned. I stood up, careful not to let my towel drop to the floor, and pulled him into a tight embrace. "You have nothing to apologize for, Elijah." I lifted my head up and pecked him on the cheek. "I should probably get ready for bed now, goodnight Elijah." I smiled. "Yes, of course. Goodnight Aurora." He kissed my forehead before leaving, shutting the door on his way out.
