chapter eleven

The boys then all started coming into the gym while y/n stayed with Konoha and Bokuto, conversing about many different things. The raven hair boy then finally entered the gym and glanced over to y/n, smiling with the two guys beside her. He sighed and went over to the other team members.

Y/n spent the majority of the practice reading about volleyball and taking notes as the boys played against one another. Once they were allowed to go for a break, y/n went to go pass the towels and waterbottles to all the boys. The boys all lined up in a row and took their towel and waterbottle from y/n then went to take a break and stretch.

Finally, the last boy, Akaashi, awkwardly took his waterbottle and towel from the girl and thanked her quietly. The brunette looked at the raven hair boy as he jogged to his teammates and talked to them.

I've messed up... haven't I...?

She thought to herself as she stared at the boy.

"Talk to him," Konoha said from behind the girl which made the brunette jump. Y/n looked behind to see Bokuto and Konoha looking at Akaashi. "Talk to him. He won't know anything about your feelings if you don't say anything," Konoha said as he looked back at y/n. The brunette sighed.

"Come on y/n! I'll go with you if you want," Bokuto says with a happy grin. Y/n chuckled and shook her head.

"It's alright Bokuto-kun. This is my mistake. I should be the one to fix it,"
y/n says understanding what she has to do.

The coach blew the whistle signalling for the whole club to gather. The coach gave the team a set of instructions and the team proceeded with training. The whole session went on and it was finally time to clean the gym. Y/n was determined to fix her mistakes as she looked at Akaashi.

I have to fix this

She thought to herself as she confidentally walked up to Akaashi. Once she was in a close-talking distance, out of nervousness, she walked passed him. Before she knew it, everyone was done cleaning the gym and it was time to go home.

The girl never got to talk to the boy in school because her body moved without thinking.

Like any other usual practice, the boys parted ways and went home. Y/n and Akaashi were left to walk home in awkward silence.

The two abruptly stopped in their tracks and looked at each other. Y/n's lips curved up as she looked at the raven hair boy who widened his eyes. Y/n pulled Akaashi into a hug and rested her head on his chest.

"I'm so sorry Keiji..." she said as she looked up at him and ruffled his soft and fluffy hair. "It was childish of me to avoid you when you said you liked someone. Whoever you may like, I support you and your choice," y/n said as she nuzzled her face into the 182 cm boy's chest.

"But y/n... you don't even know who I like," the boy says as he snakes his arms around y/n's waist and rested his chin on her head.

The brunette sighed and pulled away from Akaashi. The two looked into each other's eyes and saw the moonlight's reflection in their pupils.

"I'm in love with you."

The two say at the same time. The two blushed as they realised what the other said. Y/n looked away shyly and covered her blushing face.

"I'm so glad," Akaashi say in a relieved tone as he smiled beautifully, looking at the girl he has fallen deep for. "I'm so glad you and I share the same feelings," Akaashi finished his sentence. The brunette looked at the raven hair boy, still red faced.

The time stopped and before they knew it, their lips touched like how the sun would always touch the water on a beautiful sunset. The two pulled away from the kiss and looked at the other and smiled.

"Let's go home," the princess said as she held the knight's giant hand and walked. The knight nodded and walked his princess home.
