A story filled with flu...
The school day finally ended. As y/n was packing up her stuff, Akaashi sat on his seat looking at his phone, waiting.
"I'm done, let's go" Akaashi put his phone in his pocket and stood up then proceeded to walk with y/n.
"Where do you want to go?" Akaashi asked in a calm tone as he admired the cherry blossoms. "I don't really know. I'm quite new to the area. Maybe we could go to a cafe?" Y/n suggested
Akaashi nodded and started leading the way towards. It was a really quiet walk which felt really awkward to y/n. Once the two had reached the cafe, both of them proceeded to look for a space to work. They sat down at the space they found and proceeded to take out their materials to do their research for the project.
"Hello, welcome! What can I get you two?" The waiter serving them asked. Akaashi called for a black coffee with some sugar while y/n ordered a milk tea with whipping cream on top.
"You really like your sweets," Akaashi commented on y/n's preference with a soft smile. Y/n chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck.
The both of them went into a productive studying mode for an hour then finally decided to take a break.
"So... what are your hobbies?" Y/n asked, trying to break the ice between her and Akaashi.
"I really like playing volleyball. I'm in the volleyball club. What about you, y/n-san?" "I really love art and music. I paint and play a couple of instruments..." "That's nice. You must produce exquisite pieces of art" "Why would you say that?" "You seem like a talanted person to me"
Hearing that from Akaashi, a tinge of red formed on y/n's cheeks
Did... did Akaashi just compliment me?
Y/n giggled and thanked Akaashi for the compliment. Akaashi nodded with a soft smile.
"Would you like to continue doing some more research or end off for today?" Akaashi asked. Y/n looked at her watch which read 5:26 pm. "I think we should take a break. Let's go for a walk," y/n suggested. Akaashi nodded in agreement and both of them started to pack their things.
The two exited the cafe and took a stroll around the neighbourhood and shared many questions with each other, getting to know the other. They finally decided to go home and parted ways, sharing their goodbyes.

"I'm home!" Y/n shouted as she took off her shoes and put it on the shoe rack. She walked into the kitchen to see her maid cooking. She greeted her maid and made her way upstairs into her room and put down all her things to go and shower. After her shower she came out and took out her phone to save Akaashi's number.

Akaashi Oh, hello there y/n-san No problem, I had fun myself today
Y/n smiled as she read Akaashi's reply.
As expected. He's formal and respectful even in text.
"Dinner's ready!" Y/n's maid shouted. A hungry y/n made her way to the dining table and started eating with her family.
"How was your first day of school?" Y/n's mother asked.
"It was great. I made some friends in my class." "What club are you planning to join?" Y/n's father asked. "I am considering music"
Y/n's father nodded in approval and continued eating.

As y/n was walking to school, she spotted a familar figure in front of her.
It's Akaashi
Y/n smiled to herself as she looked at the 182 cm boy walk. Her legs then suddenly started to speed up towards Akaashi and before she even realised she was walking beside him.
"Hello there y/n-san," Akaashi greeted as he saw the petite girl walking beside him.
Y/n looked up at Akaashi and smiled. "Hello Akaashi-san"
"aAAgAaAaaaaaaShEeEere!" A voice from behind the two called out. Y/n and Akaashi looked back to see the owner of the voice, a boy with white and black spikey hair, approaching the both of them.
"Good morning, Bokuto-san" Akaashi greeted. Bokuto gave a bright smile to Akaashi and looked at y/n.
"Hello there! Nice to meet you, I'm Bokuto Koutaro, the ace of the volleyball team!" Bokuto introduced himself to y/n in a comical way where you could see sparkles appearing everywhere around Bokuto.
Y/n chuckled "Nice to meet you Bokuto-san"
As the trio walked to school, Bokuto shared about his morning and talked about many things. Akaashi kept a straight face on but y/n noticed that he seemed happy around Bokuto.
They must share a very great bond
Y/n smiled at the thought of that.
"Hey y/n, if you're free after school you should totally come and watch us practice! I can show off my spiking skills to you!" Bokuto happily offered. Y/n smiled "Of course, I'll come"
