Chapter 21

Author's POV:

It was night time already. The sun began to set and the park was about to close. Russia and Philippines were heading home, chatting away to forget what just happened a while ago. As they did, breathed a sigh of relief that no one from the park was someone they knew.

Because if they knew someone, they would get a bad reputation or they could be embarrassed.

Once they were home, they headed straight for the couch and chilled for a while. "Jeez, what a day" Russia groaned once his back had reached the couch. Phil cuddled on a pillow on the couch. He nodded, slowly falling asleep.

"Sleepy already?" Russia exclaimed, looking at Phil's sleepy eyes. Russia didn't complain though. They had to try a million ways for them to forget everything and one of those was running around the park. "Guess we'll skip dinner?" Phil asked Russia. Russia didn't answer, he was already asleep.

Phil took it as a 'yes' and snuggled the pillow closer to his chest. He started to feel his eyelids grow heavy. Then soon, he fell asleep...

Phil and Del raced up to their father who was nearly dead. Some men who survived the war ran to Kati and carried him up to a house. After some seconds, a doctor arrived and went inside the house Kati was placed in.

"So you must be his sons, eh?"
Phil turned around and saw the man who stopped Imperial Spain. He gave a classy grin (show off) and shook Phil's hand.

"Yes po" Phil said happily, annoying Del for some reason. "Thank you po for saving my papa". Del took one look at the man. There was a feeling in him that he cannot be trusted.

"I don't think he's good" Del warned Phil after they met the man. "I just know it". "He saved Papa, right?" Phil reasoned. "So he's good".

"But even good people can be traitors, Phil"

"Why don't you trust anyone?"

"I do trust others but him..."

"What about him?"

"We might be his next target, Phil..."

Phil didn't understand, what target?

That evening, Kati was healed. He was on his way home when he saw the man who saved him just outside his house.

"What are you doing here?" Kati asked him sternly. "I was just watching your kids" he explained, shaking Kati's hand.

Kati looked at him for a while. He felt as if this person was going to be just like Imperial Spain....he looked like it.

"I also prepared dinner" the man added, knocking Kati out of his thoughts. "Would you like to try?" He gestured Kati inside. Kati hesitated at first. But when he got a good look at Del's head, he ran inside.

"Papa!" Del exclaimed, happily running to his father. Phil followed. "How are you?" Kati asked his sons, hugging them both. "We're fine" Del replied.

After that, the man came inside to eat. He gave Kati some food and helped clean the dishes after. Kati started to feel like this man could be trusted. He felt like it...but for Del, he still didn't think so...

A few weeks later

Everthing went well since the Americans have arrived. Everyone got to know each other well and there was a lot of learning of new cultures. But then, things became different. They even learned a new language.

But then one night, Kati was called by one of the Americans saying their leader wanted to speak to them.

Kati obeyed and went out, leaving Del in charge. He waited for a while. Then after, the leader of the Americans arrived.

"I'm glad we could work things out after that war, my friend" he commented. Kati nodded, "I'm also happy that you and your people are becoming friends with us".

"Yes, I seen it, but there is something I would like to say about..."

"What is it?"

"Well...."
