"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" Ciel yelled out angrily and (Y/n) sighed, Ciel could be such a grump when it came to not getting his things on time.

(Y/n) came in with a tray full of tea and some sweets for him to eat. She didn't bother to knock seeing as it wasn't a thing she did anymore. "Here you go, your majesty," She said sassily as she set down the cup of tea and sweets on his desk.

"Thank you (Y/n)" He thanked coldly, not looking up from the documents he was looking through.

(Y/n) sighed and sat down on the couch that was in his work room. Sebastian had moved it in there so (Y/n) would have a place to sit down when Ciel asked her to stay there. To explain their relationship simply, (Y/n) and Ciel were set to be married once they were both of marriageable age. After seeing the great success of both (Y/n) and Ciel the queen had granted them this marriage as a reward.

She remembered that moment, Ciel at the time was not someone she could see herself marrying. As the rumors had said he was cold and unforgiving with a wild temper. He wasn't the type of man she wanted to marry. She could hear the queen's voice, 'You two will be an amazing couple, I wish you two the best,'

(Y/n) looked over at the working Ciel before sighing, Ciel was a cold and hard working man. He treated her as a servant, kept her locked up in this room with him, and often left her alone in the house when he went off on business trips. (Y/n) was at her wits end with him, Ciel could be kind sometimes but those moments couldn't make up for his other moments.

(Y/n) felt as trapped as a bird in a golden cage. This wasn't how she wanted to live, she wanted to be free, to explore the world. She often pleaded to go with Ciel on his trips with him but was always denied and ordered to not leave the house. She felt trapped and caged, only able to leave when Ciel granted her permission and went with her.

"(Y/n) take away this tea and make me some more, it has gone cold," Ciel ordered, not even looking up from his papers, shifting some things.

(Y/n) nodded, standing up and moving over to grab the tray and the tea cup. Tripping on a small dent in the floor she managed to spill the cup of tea all over Ciel's papers. Ciel looked up, absolutely furious, it was clear on his face.

"Loot what you've done (Y/n)!" He yelled causing her to flinch, "You've made a mess of my papers and desk!" He screamed pushing the papers and tea cup and plate off his desk in a rage. Sebastian managed to come in and catch the tea cup and plate before they fell to the ground. "You're so incompetent! You can't do the simplest of tasks!"

This statement was the straw that broke the camel's back. (Y/n) looked up furious with Ciel, with the life she was living. "Yes I'm incompetent Mr. Phantomhive!" She yelled back glaring at the now surprised Ciel, "If you find me so incompetent then tell the Queen to revoke our marriage," She continued.

"Now Lady (Y/n) let's calm down," Sebastian said, patting her shoulder in an attempt to calm the situation.

"No! I'm done, go find another girl to keep trapped in this house, to be your servant!" She yelled before storming out of the room. Could she leave if she tried? No of course not, the servants wouldn't allow her to leave. Even if she got past the servants, Sebastian would track her down in an instance and drag her back to the phantomhive manor.

Running into her room she locked the door behind her moving her dresser to cover the door before flopping on her bed. Why did she have to deal with this? With the constant verbal abuse from Ciel for not being good enough. Ciel was not the man she loved, nor the man she could ever think of loving. Who could love a man like that.

(Y/n) started to cry, did the Queen hate her? Why would she grant such a horrible marriage, (Y/n) was a free spirit, a playful person, someone who was meant to explore the world. She wasn't meant to be with such a serious person.

"(Y/n). (Y/n)," Ciel called out from outside the room, "(Y/n) open the door now!" He ordered, as usual. He never spoke to her unless it was an order.

(Y/n) hid under her covers ignoring his calls hoping that if she ignored him long enough he would just leave. Unfortunately, Ciel was stubborn and ordered for Sebastian to open the door. Sebastian had informed Ciel that it would be best to leave her be for the moment but Ciel didn't seem to care.

Hearing the door open (Y/n) further curled up in the blankets wishing she could just disappear. "(Y/n) come out now," Ciel ordered his voice softer now.

"Why should I? If you want someone to make tea or cook for you tell Bard or Sebastian," (Y/n) said coldly from under the blankets.

Sebastian let out a chuckle from the girls sassy behavior. Ciel crossed his arms, "I'll only ask you once, (Y/n) come out now," Ciel said.

(Y/n) came out of the blankets, her hair completely messy and her dress wrinkled. She glared at Ciel, her arms crossed tightly, "What do you want Mr. Phantomhive?" She asked coldly using his last name once more. It was something she only did when she was upset.

"(Y/n)-"

She rolled her eyes standing up and pushing him aside as she walked out the door, "I'll get you your stupid tea, wouldn't want to interrupt your precious work," She said coldly as she made her way down the hallway.

Sebastian appeared in front of her blocking her, he mouth a sorry as he turned her around to face Ciel. "Why do you want to leave (Y/n)," Ciel asked seriously looking (Y/n) in the eye, "Why do you want to leave me so badly?"

Ciel had fought so hard with the Queen so she would grant him this marriage. As cliche as it may sound, Ciel had fallen in love with (Y/n) the moment he first saw her. (Y/n) covered in blood as she fought and killed murderers while still in her sunday dress, to him there wasn't anything more beautiful. (Y/n) outside of that dangerous world was as gentle and kind as she was playful and curious.

(Y/n) stared at him, "I'm nothing but a servant to you Phantomhive," She said harshly causing Ciel to wince, he could hear how upset she was, "I don't love you and you don't love me, there is no point to this engagement, much less marriage,"

Ciel stared at her dumbfounded, but he knew she was right. Ciel was not the best at showing his feelings and instead was cold and commanding. He didn't mean to be this way and was planning a rare day out with (Y/n) to make up for the time he has been gone.

He wanted to tell her how he felt about her, while he knew it might not be the time right now he knew he wanted to do it anyways. "I will not let you leave!" He yelled out loudly before covering his mouth, that was not what he meant to say. "No wait-"

(Y/n) glared at Ciel, "I would rather die than stay trapped here," She said running off to hide in her room. Why couldn't he just let her free, why did she have to be stuck here.

"Sebastian!" Ciel yelled out in a panic, he would not lose (Y/n) so easily.

Sebastian zoomed out stopping (Y/n) from making it anywhere farther than a couple steps. (Y/n) glared at Sebastian before grinning, taking out the knife she always carried with her she stabbed herself in the stomach. (Y/n) would not be caged in this place any longer.
