Chase's POV

It really seems a little odd to me that I came here. Here! Out of all place in the universe, in a carnival! But I didn't want to come. Lucas and Ty kind of dragged me over here. Talk about childishness. I wonder when they'll grow up.

After all the awesome rides (note the sarcasm) we're here in the cafeteria. We're sitting here for last half an hour. Three girls are there 3 tables ahead of us.

Those girls seriously got my attention in the café. But the one in the red tank top, something was different about her. Its getting harder for me to look away from her. What's wrong with me? I thought. Because I never look at a girl for this long. And she is really not my type.

The one who is all cheery and looks like a believer in 'yay life' theory is the type I avoid always. And that girl over there is definitely one of that type. I'm not good at handling those girls with high expectations.

Maybe she is a gymnast or dancer or something like that. That better explains her body movements and super flexibility. The way she was running away from her friend, the way her dark hair bounced and every time she stopped, those long hair of hers covered her face in a messy yet adorable way. The way her eyes were shining brightly with excitement, her beautiful delicate skin with natural brightness, everything about her created a calm aura around her that made me wanna hold her in my ar- Wait WHAT?!

No no no! I take that back. I didn't just think those things! I'm getting insane. So I quickly got up to get something more to eat & a beer to calm my nerves.

While getting the beer, I heard a loud sound of of glass shattering. I didn't pay that much attention. But after a while I heard Lucas shouting.

" CHASE!"

What the hell? Something's up. This is his panicked voice. I ran towards the café exit. Outside there was a big crowd. I struggled through the crowd.

"What the fuck?! Did you just slap me?" A guy yelled.

I looked around and saw three other big furious guy with guns. Wait Guns? Oh crap. This is bad. Then I saw those three girls from the cafe and the one in red tank top standing right in front of the guy who just yelled. What's those girls doing here? Didn't they see how dangerous the situation is? Those guys have guns!

"Oh no you idiot! I just hi-fived your face." The girl in red tank top joked.

Though that was a funny comeback, but she shouldn't have used that right now. The other gild who was chasing the red tank top girl throughout the café laughed loudly.

"God that was quiet a sight! Now, since she is in the field too, you better leave them two. Because if you get her angry, you won't get enough time to think about saving your sorry ass." The other girl said.

Huh? What does she mean? This girl doesn't look like a danger. It looks like she can barely harm a fly.

"Oh yeah? Let's see you kid." The guy said.

Shit! He looks pissed. This is getting worse. Right after he finished yelling, he threw a punch towards her. But she dodged the punch swiftly and grabbed his arm and then twisted it painfully. Even the crack of bone was audible.

My eyes widened in shock. Gosh she did that? It takes too much force to break bones..

"You asked for it. Now let's show you what this kid can do." She said so calmly & coldly as the guy screamed in pain. Her tone sent chills through my spines. An unknown glint in her eyes.
