(Jade)
I grabbed my guitar and slammed the door behind me. I was already late for the guitar lesson with Lydia. I hurried up the hill to the big white house she lived in. I grinned. Two months ago, I never thought I'd ever step a foot in that house and now I walked in a few times per week. I met Lydia when I sat outside under a tree, writing on my music, my black guitar next to me. She asked me, if I was good at playing guitar and told me, that she always wanted to play an instrument. I answered, that I was indeed good at playing guitar and offered her, to give her guitar lessons. Lydia definitely wanted to, and since then we were friends. Lydia was basically my only friend around here. The rest of the neighborhood was all too old or too young for me.
I arrived now at Lydia's house and rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, she opened it and hugged me. "Hi Jade!" "Hey Lydia" "Come on, come inside, I've already prepared everything" I closed the door behind me and followed Lydia to the living room, where already stood two chairs. I sat down at on one and unpacked my guitar. "So you can play Emperor's New Clothes completely now?" I asked Lydia who sat down at the other chair. She nodded. "Definitely" "Great! Then it's time to learn a new song. What would you like to learn?" "What about Visitation Of The Ghost?" she suggested. I agreed. "A Brobecks song is always great" "Awesome! Wait, I'm gonna get my guitar. Of course I forgot something!" she ran up the stairs. While she was gone, I pulled my phone out of my pocket, to check my YouTube channel. On my channel, I uploaded covers from other songs and of course my own songs. When I opened the app, one new private message popped up. I read it and couldn't believe my eyes. "Lydia!" I screamed. Lydia immediately came down the stairs, her guitar in hand. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Nothing's wrong! I just got a message from a record label! They saw my songs on YouTube and want a meeting!" Now Lydia also screamed. "That's amazing! We have to celebrate this! In the kitchen is still some chocolate cake, would you mind, getting it while I tune my guitar? And then you definitely need to show me the message!" she said. "Of course, no problem, I'm always there for cake" I stood up and went in the kitchen. There was still one piece of chocolate cake on the pantry. Lydia and I would have to share it. I just put it on a plate, when I heard a voice behind me saying: "Hey! That piece of cake is mine!"
