Cole Breaks Karlof's Leg (Part 1)

I know I should be working on my One-Shot book and the requests, but please understand this is the first time in awhile that I've had time to update and the motivation to do so.

I edited some of the roleplay, so it makes more sense.

Monastery of Spinjitzu. 3rd Person P.O.V.

To say that the Elemental Masters were confused when a letter from the Ninja arrived asking for their presence at the Monastery was an understatement.

Despite their confusion, everyone nonetheless arrived at the Monastery, where they were greeted with a pizza buffet and drinks and the excited Ninja.

"Ta-da!" Jay cried, doing jazz hands.

"We wanted to surprise all of you.  This is our way of thanking you for all of your help," Zane calmly explained.

Kai grinned.  "So feel free to help yourselves.  There's enough for everyone to have one full pizza to themselves!"

Shade smiled and discreetly made his way to Lloyd's side as everyone dug in.  He noticed how Neuro had taken his pizza and sat down on the steps next to Kai.  He also noticed that Karlof had taken a seat next to Bolobo, much to his surprise.

"Hey, Lloyd?" Shade asked.  

"What is it, Shade?" Lloyd responded, taking a bit out of his pizza.

"Do you think Bolobo and Karlof are together?"

Lloyd choked on his pizza. "What?"

"Well, they're next to each other and they seem to be getting along."

"I don't think they are.  If so, they can tell us in their own time."

Shade shrugged and took a bite of pizza. "I know Kai and Neuro are a thing.  I think Gravis and Jacob are together, and us.  Anyone else?"

"I think Turner and Jay are dating.  Hard to tell.  I do know Jay and Nya broke up.  Zane and Pixal are together as well."

"So, Cole is the only male Ninja without a girlfriend or boyfriend?" Shade laughed.  Lloyd laughed too.

"Yep," he replied.  "And he has a fit everytime he sees me or one of the others with their significant other."

"Maybe if he had a partner he would leave you alone?"

Lloyd and Shade jumped.  Shade nearly dropped his pizza as he turned to face the new speaker.

"Oh! Pale! It's just you," Shade breathed, relieved.

"Yeah.  Me.  But maybe Cole will leave the couples alone if he had a significant other?"  Pale asked.

Lloyd gave a thoughtful 'hmmm'.  "Maybe."

Gravis floated over, wanting to talk to Shade and see how he's been.  That, and he wanted to know if the rumor of him being with Lloyd was true.  He landed next to Pale.

"Hey.  What you guys talking about?" he asked, feeling like he was interrupting something.

"We are trying to get Cole a date.  So he can leave all the couples alone," Pale explained.  Gravis winced.

"Tox is the same way.  She's certain someone is going to end up with a baby if they date people.  Especially if Elemental Masters are dating," Gravis sighed.  "But, that's a good idea.  Get one critic out of the way so everyone can relax a bit."

Karlof and Bolobo made their way over to the group of four, confused on to what they were discussing.  Pale waved at them.

 "What are you all talking about?" Bolobo asked.

"We think Cole needs a boyfriend or girlfriend," Pale answered.

"What going on?" Karlof asked, confusion written all over his face.

"They're trying to set Cole up, Karlof," Bolobo explained.

"Oh," Karlof said.

"GUYS!" someone yelled, causing the group of six to look to their right, where an angry Cole stood.

"Come on! You need someone!" Pale protested.

"Yeah! Because then you might leave us couples alone!" Gravis added.

"NO I DON'T!! AND I'LL CAUSE AN EARTHQUAKE IF YOU DON'T STOP!!" Cole yelled.

At this point, everyone at the Monastery was focused on the group, though they stayed quiet, not sure on what to do.

"Cole okay?" Karlof asked, worried.

Pale slowly put his hands up in surrender and began to back away.  After a couple seconds, he turned himself invisible. 

"I'm going to go inside," Gravis said and quickly left, leaving Shade, Lloyd, Karlof, and Bolobo.  Cole glared at the four.  

"Come on, Shade.  Let's go watch a movie," Lloyd suggested, pulling Shade inside.  Cole continued to glare at the two as they disappeared inside.

"I think you're overreacting," Bolobo said calmly.  "Just breathe, okay?"

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO FUCKING DO!" Cole yelled, slamming his fist into the ground, sending rocks flying at the group.

One rock was launched into Karlof's leg before he could turn to metal.  Karlof screamed and collapsed to the ground, clutching his leg.

"KARLOF!" Bolobo cried and bolted to Karlof's side.  Cole froze and stared at Karlof and Bolobo before turning to go inside.

"I'll go get Shade," he mumbled as he went inside.

Karlof moved the rock away from his leg and tried to move it, but winced.

"Easy, Karlof.  Just keep it still, okay?" Bolobo said, gently taking Karlof's hand in his.  Karlof bit his lip and nodded.

A moment later and Shade and Cole were outside.  Shade made his way next to Karlof and crouched down.

"Can I see your leg, Karlof?" Shade asked.

Karlof nodded and pointed to the injured leg, which was his right one.

"In case Cole didn't tell you, he hit Karlof in the leg with a rock," Bolobo muttered.

"It was an accident!" Cole cried.

"You still hurt Karlof!" Bolobo shot back.

"I'm sorry!" Cole yelled.

Shade sighed.  "Can you straighten both legs for me, Karlof?"

Karlof easily straightened his left leg, but whimpered in pain when he tried to do the same with his right.

"Where is the pain mostly located? Your knee?" Shade questioned, studying Karlof's injured leg.

"It doesn't matter if you're sorry!" Bolobo shot back at Cole. "You still hurt him!"

"I'm out!" Cole muttered and went inside.

"Yeah," Karlof answered. 

"Well, by the looks of it, you should get it checked out.  But try not to move it in case it makes it worse," Shade explained.

"I can take you to the hospital, Karlof," Bolobo volunteered, and helped Karlof up off the ground as he summoned his Elemental Dragon.  

"Karlof can't stand on it!" Karlof gasped.  Bolobo helped Karlof up.

"You can lean on me, okay?" Bolobo replied as he got the dragon into the air and towards the hospital.

"So, is Cole in trouble?" Neuro asked Kai, watching Bolobo and Karlof leave.

"Yep," Kai replied.
