It was fifteen hours into the flight. Everyone was getting exhausted from flying for so long. Pit and Roy were knocked out by exhaustion long time ago, while next to them, Marth was re-watching Friends, wanting to indulge back into his favorite childhood series.
Meanwhile behind them, Link had managed to stop Robin and Palutena from causing a scene, and with a break from all that fighting, Palutena finally realized how tired she was from the bicker.
Her eyes were flickering, eyelids slowly falling down before she abruptly blinked awake, the whole process repeating itself for a few minutes, until she gave into her body's needs and fell limp against her chair. No one really noticed this. Robin was too busy texting, venting to Tharja, requiring to get his frustration out somewhere on the long flight. Link had his earphones tucked in his ears, silently jamming out to his emo playlist. Ow, the edge.
A 'ding' was heard on flight, the seatbelt symbol illuminating.
"We suggest you to fasten your seatbelt until further notice, as we may experience turbulence, thank you."
Marth, being the good boy he is, fastened his own seatbelt, then reaching over to fastened Roy and Pit's.
The other three were just too tired to follow instructions, or just too busy with something else to give a shit about seatbelts.
As warned by the cabin crew, the plane began to shake a bit, in response, Palutena's body slid down the seat a bit, still, no one paid mind.
The plane quaked a little harder this time, and Palutena's unconscious body suddenly fell on Robin's lap, causing him to jump from the sudden contact. His eyes darted from his phone to her, frustration filling his veins once again. He tried to put her head back where it was before, but she only fell back on his lap, causing him to groan from the impact hitting him somewhere private, but he coughed, trying to get Palutena off his lap. Link's eyes shifted, playfully scoffing before looking looking out the window again.
Robin turned to Link, eyebrows furrowed in irritation, "What are you laughing at, Emo-lord?"
Link turned back to Robin with a smirk on his face, "I heard that."
"Heard what?"
"That ooh," Link mimicked Robin's groan mischievously, causing Robin to growl.
Robin rolled his eyes, focusing on trying to remove Palutena. He wasn't able to get some slack, and as if the universe wanted to annoy him further, a tall, dark-haired woman walked by, cooing, "Aw."
Robin inhaled deeply, looking up, raising an eyebrow, "Bayonetta?"
The witch chuckled, winking at the two, "You guys look cute together."
Robin was taken aback. He hated Palutena, and hearing that made him vomit a little in his mouth, "What?! Oh fuck no we're-"
"I remember when I was your age, all the boys would run away from me. She's a good one, keep her."
Offence was written all over Robin's face, blinking multiple times before responding, "Ok listen here you little witch, I don't need you-"
"OKAYYyyy.." Link cut Robin off, before things could escalate further, "Robin thanks you for the compliment, you may be on your way now."
Bayonetta smirked, before walking away, probably to the restroom.
Robin sighed deeply, resting his head against his seat in defeat, trying his best to drift his mind from the current situation as much as possible. Before he knew it, he was slowly falling unconscious himself.
