Chapter 10: Deja Vu

"What the fuck Palutena?!" Marth shot at Palutena, "I can't believe you, Lucina, and Chrom! How could you all be so sick!"

Marth always tried to be the level headed person of the group, no matter how intense the situation was. He always knew the consequences of a heated or intense argument, it almost always never ended well.

But in this situation, everything that Palutena had told, made him boil on the inside. He couldn't stop the vulgar words from falling out his mouth, and he somewhat wishes that Lucina and Chrom were still alive, just so he could yell at them as well.

Link himself was furious as well, frustrated with the fact that Palutena tried to protect terrible people, "How could you do shit like that, huh?! I've done bad things myself but the way all three of you went behind Robin's back like that was absolutely sick! You're horrible!"

"Shut up, Link..." Palutena muttered, "You said it yourself, you've done bad things too, you sound like a hypocrite..."

"I don't give a flying fuck if I sound like a hypocrite," Link snarled.

"Doesn't change the fact that you're horrible yourself!" Marth added.

Pit didn't even know what to do. Everything was becoming too much for him, he doesn't even know what to do at this point. Should he toughen up, yell at Palutena as well. Yes, he's angry at her, but he also didn't feel like it. The thought of running away and forgetting everything crossed his mind.

But what if these events haunt him. He might go somewhere else, make new friends and smile during the day, but what about the nightmares, the trauma. He didn't want to relive the worst moments of his life. Maybe ending his life was a better option. Maybe he should let everything go dark, no thoughts, nothing.

His thoughts were interrupted by Palutena screaming, "Guys please just SHUT UP! WHERE IS ALL THIS YELLING GONNA GET YOU?! YOU THINK LUCINA WILL JUST COMEBACK AND BE ALL LOVEY DOVEY WITH ROBIN AND COMFORT HIM WHEN HE'S SAD ABOUT HIS SAD FAMILY!? OH BOO HOO WE'RE UPSET, WE'RE BAD, BUT DO YOU GUYS REALIZE THAT THERE'S A LITERAL DEMON OUT TO KILL?! SOME RELATIONSHIP DRAMA SHOULD NOT BE THE TOP OF OUR PRIORITIES!"

Marth shot back, "JUST BECAUSE WE HAVE SOME DEMON TO KILL DOES NOT MEAN THAT WHAT YOU DID SUDDENLY DOESN'T MATTER, AND THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO INVALIDATE ROBIN JUST MAKES YOU MORE OF A WHORE THAN YOU ALREADY ARE!"

"It's more than just a sad story, Palutena." Robin finally spoke, his voice laced with anger and sadness.

Marth and Link turned towards him. Marth decided to approach Robin, placing his hands comfortingly on Robin's arms, to which Robin tensed up, but relaxed as he felt the latter's thumbs rubbing him.

"I'm sorry about this bitch, Robin, if you need to talk, cry, yell, let it out, right now. I'm right here to listen."

Robin clenched his jaw. The only people he ever told about his sister were Chrom and Lucina. Everyone else knew Robin's childhood wasn't bright, but he never got into the details with them.

His sisters face flashed through his mind. The image almost brought him to tears. Lucina, Palutena, Chrom, and the whole killer demon were all bad things that happened to him

"It's okay..." Marth whispered comfortingly, "What happened?"

Robin stood outside of Robyn's(f!robin) high school, waiting for her to exit the gate of her first day of high school. He glanced up from the book he was reading, smiling when he saw his younger sister rush out of the gates.
