Error heard the faint calling of a voice. He couldn't tell whose it was, but it was familiar and calming. He then felt someone poke him on the cheekbone, waking him up a little more.
"Ruru~?" He heard the voice again.
He slowly opened his eye sockets and looked towards the voice. He saw the creator, already dressed in his normal uniform, laying half on the bed, reaching over to poke the destroyer on the cheekbone.
"I-Inky?" Error questioned.
"Wake up sleepyhead." Ink teased with a smile, pulling away his hand from the other's face.
Error slowly sat up and glanced around. The sun was already out, and by the way the creator was dressed, it was much later than the destroyer had originally thought.
"What time is it?" He asked, lazily rubbing one of his eye sockets.
Ink shifted his position so his head rested on the palm of one of his hands.
"Well handsome," He began. "It's about ten in the morning, and you've hardly moved a bone. That's pretty unusual for you."
"Ten?!" Error exclaimed.
"Yep!" Ink replied, smiling.
These nightmares are getting out of hand... Thought the destroyer. At this rate he'll start to notice that somethings up.
"Guess that explains why you look like you're about to leave." Error mused.
"Yeah, that's another reason why I decided to wake you up." Said the creator.
"Damn... Why couldn't you wake me up sooner?" The destroyer asked.
"Well..." Ink began, a light rainbow blush dusting his cheekbones. "You look so calm and adorable while sleeping, it was kind of a challenge to bring myself to doing it."
This caused the other's face to lightly flush as he gave a small smile. He watched Ink push himself up and off the bed, standing up properly.
"By the way," He began. "I made some coffee earlier if you're interested. It's still warm, at least it was the last time I checked."
"Yeah... That would be nice." Error replied, getting out on the opposite side of the bed from where the creator stood.
He slipped his feet into his slippers before standing up, and walking over to where Ink now stood near the bedroom door. Once a couple inches from the other, he cupped the other's left cheekbone in his hand.
"Promise me you'll be safe." Error whispered.
"Ruru, don't I always..?" Ink replied, smiling sweetly at his lover.
The destroyer returned the expression before giving the other a sweet goodbye kiss.

In the laboratory hidden inside the void, two skeletons presently found themselves in a pediatrician's room. It was filled with everything one would normally find in a patient checkup room from the smallest needle to the examination table in the center.
In the room with them was the pediatrician; a Labrador retriever monster in their mid twenties, fur a cream color with large floppy ears. They wore a basic lab coat and had a stethoscope hanging around their neck. They gave a friendly smile to the skeletons who stood on the right side of the room.
"Now, just incase you weren't told," The pediatrician began. "I'll be giving you both a basic check-up: reflexes, sight, hearing, bone strength, and soul strength."
