The group took a vote and decided to go to the lobby, so they went down the stairs, to be greeted by the police.
"Don't worry! You're safe with us." The cop says, escorting the group outside.

"Thank you for helping us back there with... Whatever the heck that situation was." Nick said, thanking the group and the police.
"No problem! We're just glad that y'all are safe from the blizzard." The cop responds.
"Since the snow might be melted enough by sunrise, we can go on our camping trip tomorrow. See ya!" Nick says as he takes his family to their car, leaving the group of 7 confused and shaken up about the incident.

"Damn..." Zach says as he looks at his surveillance camera.
Sure, he did get what he want, which was at least one kill, but that acorn hair wasn't the target.
She deserved it though, he cannot afford to have her interfering.
But, it's 1 less eyewitness to testify against him if he were to get caught...
Speaking of getting caught, the police were surveying the building to inspect the damage.
Shoot! He can't let them get to him.
"Shoot!" Zach s w e a r s under his breath as he scrambles outdoors to look over.
He can't jump over the side.
He should've gotten that darn grappling hook...
Welp, guess he should go down the stairs like a peasant.
Unfortunately [for Zach], this was a terrible idea, and he accidentally ran into the cops.
"Sir, this is a crime scene. Leave immediately or face jail time for trespassing."
"Wait, let's interrogate him. Maybe he knows about what happened."
Frick! They'll probably stumble upon the dead body and pinpoint that lady's death to him.
"Uh, I think I saw a suspicious man over there!" Zach diverts, as he points to the staircase.
Of course, the cops quickly run towards the staircase, leaving Zach to flee the scene.
"Damn it..." Zach says to himself, seeing the family of 5's SUV not parked.
They got away...
No matter! If he didn't catch them now, he'll catch them again...
He knows that they're going camping, so he didn't get too frustrated.
It's like they always say; "Third time's a charm!"

A/N: Like I said in the last chapter (The hotel room chapter, not the Hotel chapter itself) The fates of the hotel guests (excluding the family of 5) are pretty ambiguous.
Who really knows what happened to them, they might be dead or alive or something like that.
