25 Days Till Christmas...BPP Style

December 16- Painted Pencil

I sighed.

"All aboard!" Shouted a pony standing by the train door. I picked up all mymy bags and headed toward the door. I was about to head in when I heard a voice.

"Pencil! Painted pencil!" I heard it yell. I could see a purple pony galloping into view. Blue heart stopped and bumped into me a little. She was about to speak when I stopped her.

"If you're trying to bring me back home, its not going to work." I kept regathering my bags.

"Please…………its almost Christmas……and… we'll miss you." She begged.

"I have to. I need to be with sturdy hoof and plus I already paid for a ticket to manehatten. And by the looks of this ring on my hoof……i better speak with him in person." Blue heart looked at the ground and moved her hoof around. I looked at her with pity. "Blue…"

"I was adopted." The words flew out of her mouth softly. I stood their astonished at what she just said. "I just thought you'd want to know that before you left." I gazed at her. I stared for a good long while.

"trains leaving in five minutes!" Yelled the pony by the door.

"I've gotta go…goodbye blue, I'll see you soon." I gave her I light smile and boarded the train. The last thing I could see was blue with tears in her eyes standing in the middle of the train station.

I rolled the ring around in my hoof and stared out the window. I watched as we passed many, many trees and towns. Eventually we came into an area as it began to drizzle. The train came to a screeching stop and everyone began to move around. I gathered my bags and shuffled off the train. Sturdy hoof stood at the train station waiting for my arrival. He saw me come out of the train and looked at me. I wore a worn small frown and he knew how I was feeling. He embraced me in a warm hug.

"You made the right choice." Said to me. Blue's words still bounced in my head. I was adopted… But somewhere far deep down in my heart I knew I was making a mistake.
